One of my neighbors went for a BBQ. The smoke got blown into the kitchen and hallway. Which triggered the fire alarm. But you should know that if a fire alarm is triggered, the alarms from all 6 families living here go off. Plus the alarms that are located in the stairway. I didn’t know it was just smoke from a BBQ thus I grabbed the dogs and left the building. In the meanwhile 10 alarms going off simultaneously, which resulted in a temporary tinnitus. Luckily it healed. So far our adventures with a BBQ on a balcony. 🙈
You need to put a ring of lighter gel around the vent hole, not just 3 little dots, and pour the gel in before you put the water reservoir on the grill, this makes it much easier.
