Hi, I have though bout buying some sweet headphones from them (yet I have not been decided through the price tag - roughly 600 euro, which is quite a lot for my budget). I don't want to spend my hard saved money on a brand which cannot treat their customers with respect (especially in that price range - doesn't matter If its an expensive car, watches or headphones). These legacy companies should be quite aware, that I can easily buy another brand or Chinese wannabe brand for 1/10 of the price and likely with 60-80 % performance of the "legacy" product.
Great idea of muting yourself and doing a voiceover instead to explain the issue! They can’t put a gag order on you like this just because you joined their beta testing programme, ridiculous.
I believe there is a forum created within the Beta test environment for everyone to share the faults they experienced (that way it is only available to B&O to work with and improve on), the fact that U made a UA-cam video instead to share your experience ( you can see why they’re upset about that). If U did not sign up as Beta tester and shared your experience just as an end user,B&O wont complain about that but as a tester, U have access to other people’s complaints and faults both from Beta and standard software all of which including yours make up your experience. I say this because I am a Beta tester too with B&O and I know the amount of information available there from other testers from day to day use of their products You might NOT have breached your NDA, But it seems mentioning that you are a Beta tester on the video must be the reason they are contacting you. My thoughts
Danes are great in sound and furniture, world-class in many cases. And then you come to Bang & Olufsen... they just missed it. Why on earth would anyone sane release a soundbar with a 8 WATT standby power consumption?! Only B&O. The company is infamous for just not caring. Their 'tone meister' can't make products that look and sound amazing, they have to mess it up somehow. Their behaviour is NOT up to Danish standards! Yes, I will still look at a Theatre.

B & O is around No1 in design. Don´t ever expect "HiFi-level" because they are NOT. Hope you will survive the winter here in Sweden, darkness for a few months. :)
Bang and Olufsen make exceedingly good audio equipment, anyone who thinks Beolab 50 , 90 , 5 , 28 , 9 , Penta or many of the passive Beovox speakers of yesteryear . They can punch up there with the vast majority of audio and HIFI companies . The baseless accusations about BnO not having good sonics has been proved wrong on many occasions, as Andrew Robinson or Peter Ledderman the analogue guro from Soundsmith NYC or the CEO of Sausalito audio or the counties magazine reviews that give credit where credit is due . We are not talking about Conrad or some bourgeois home designer . BnO is a very serious high end audio company that has always done things differently. I’d actually go and listen to their range as many enlightened audiophiles have including me
I'm sure B&O got annoyed when you described them as not being a tech company - obviously they are. There is high level technology in sound system and speaker design especially when creating form factor products. Software is a completely separate department though which absolutely can be criticised but perhaps your choice of words could have been better.
Here we go again with the Woke/PC brigade that blames the person impacted "wrong choice of words" or "you brought it upon yourself". No I won't choose my words to please people. I will say what I like, this is my Channel and I don't care what people say!
B&O are over price. You are buying design, not sound or software quality. In want good design and sound quality in your hi-fi gear? Gato audio is the answer… and you can speak directly with the the designer. I’m a huge fan of this guys.

Really sad that such well established manufacturers makes mistakes like this.
I am happy with my Genelec system, and also happy with customer support from both retailer and the factory.
I used to have their speakers and they are really good

No forum no nothing. Just a terrible system created for beta testers which is all I was saying. Their website was designed badly and nothing worked.

I had about 150 of them but gave them away when I turned 16. I grew up :)
