One of the biggest things in these series of battles is it's hard to tell how hard each beatboxers bass is hitting. You can see when codfish is singing in the throat bass that the literal cameras are shaking, and he's beatboxing at the same time. Which is why the judges look like they're overreacting to essentially, simplicity. The other thing to understand here is that most GBB's etc., was all about new sounds and dance tracks, Codfish was the first beatboxer in a very long time to bring musicality to their rounds which pretty much gave way to every beatboxer after this GBB to invest heavily in bringing musicality to their own routines, Codfish changed the game completely which is why he was able to get so far in 2018 GBB.

H-Has is actually super awesome. Super unique style. His BBU wildcard or his 2023 GBB wildcard are awesome! Love that guy.

codfish was the first beatboxer, to really put beats and singing together, it was new in 2018, and are more standard now, the judges this year was going more for the new style because its new.
napom is liproll king, and thats why the second round of h-has was not that fire, because it was standard liproll
