Love when a FL execute revenge meticulously. Even though ML was gangster, he was definitely smitten and protective. With a happy ending...on to the next!!!
Love this drama, the lead couple has great chemistry, and there's neither abuse nor the wrong message. And to top it off, the villains get their comeuppance. The only pity ful character is the child of the two timing husband, because that kid has no say in whom it gets born to. I wouldn't mind a remake of this drama in the future, but this version is already very good. 😎👍🏼 100% recommend!👍🏼
Their is definitely abuse.. That man constantly choked the FL and even put a knife to her throat.. Not to mention that all of this is happening while she is not only pregnant, but had been told by the doc that her body is weak and that her pregnancy is shaky so she needs to be careful.. Then the ML is choking her out in the very next scene.. Almost to the point of her passing out..
I've seen this script done with other actors, and that version and this version are done very well. The actors did a great job in their roles. Have saved to my favorites, so i can watchbit again later

If you ignore the fact that ML strangles the FL everytime they meet, it's a decent watch (It was totally unnecessary too). I mean, at this point it's hard to find a single cdrama/movie where the ML doesn't strangle the FL 😅 The FL is smart and decisive. She understands protecting herself comes first as she can't straight out jump to revenge - realistic. Recommend.
The strangling scene between ML and FL always got me thinking... Is that some sorta romantic gesture or kinks or a must-happens scene in enemy-to-lover troupe?
Oh man at 37:31 when FL finds out her entitled MIL stole and sold the deeds of her shops and land, my blood pressure skyrocketed. I was so furious I had to pause and leave the drama to calm down. 😂😅😅
All the Men are about 10 years younger than the FL also for a person who knows the future she sure is in a lot of trouble All the time so the ML can save her? but its really hard to tell if she likes this dude or not
I like this version of the plot the most. I do wonder how the ML found out the truth behind the FL identity in the previous life since he called her by her nickname as she was dying
*_Another version of "I met the general and had his child, while my coward husband has disappeared from the battle and is said to have died, but living elsewhere with another wife and child"...this version doesn't show the leads getti ng physical, not even once but the ML's expressive eyes, make up for his aloof nature and stoic body language..the fL has been sold by her MIL, to the general, to get out her older son, who is in jail and raise an adopted son, who the MIL, says is a poor relative..only this so called POOR relative happens to be the FL's own husband, who escapes from the battle, while the FL's father army is slaughtered, after military secrets are leaked by the FL's ex and he goes to hide,in a small village and lives off of he expense paid by his mother..of course, it is the wife's considerable dowry, that goes to educate this illegal son and in the first birth, after looting her of all her wealth , the mistress and the ML's ex, come together and the fL dies without having any medicine or food..but in the rebirth, though she gets pregnant by the ML[ a general], he falls in love with her, helps her eliminate the enemy one by one and ends up marrying her and a child is born..the other version explains things in more detail, shows the two leads together, also shows the concubine testing her pregnancy by making her dance and there they take revenge by making her ex-husband sleep with the concubine resulting in his death and the rest are thrown out..the drought and how she buys grains are explained well..the leads had a brilliant chemistry there, much better than this..the ML here has acted as a 2ML, in rebirth plots,where he acts as the bad guy against whom the fL is reborn to take revenge..all in all a gOOD movie to watch_* 🤩😍💯👌👌👌👌✌✌✌✌👍👍👍
I have also seen another version of this drama elsewhere. That version was more comfortable to watch rather than this. The FL actress was good with acting. The ML actor's acting was also good but he seemed to be a bit down compared with FL.

I love this plot I've watched 4 or 5 versions of it and still wish there is more 😂😂 , this and the travel into a novel trope are my all time favs

每次看劇都覺得很莫名其妙，不管古代還現代男主或男二都很喜歡掐脖子，而且都是女主被掐…..最後才有可能女二被掐，只是在哪個國家這個現象是正常的？？🤣🤣
