- This Adventure may be the stupidest thing Ive thought up yet. We have decided to go winter camping in a truck tent when the temps are supposed to drop to -17 Celsius . We only have cheap gear also so I hope we don't freeze !!!! We have fun doing it !!! Come check it out !!!

I got a 3 step ladder to access the tent. They’re cheap and small but make climbing in and out a lot easier. Enjoy your Napier, I do.

I got it from Amazon actually ..it came from Napier ...was supposed to be used but didn't ;look like it at all ...maybe old stock .
A pool ladder would work and folds up when not in use.

If you had a big and long vestibule that would reach the ground and it had a stove jack. You could stay warm with a small wood stove. You'd also need tarps to close off the space under the truck. A large portable lightweight wood stove could keep a fire going that could last all night.

@@sparkys506adventures4 Check out the Four Dogs ULXL ll wood stove with a baffle, Great heat for 8+ hours. Someone got a 13 hour burn but it was only good for about 8-9 hours of sufficient heat to do the job properly. Of course the air intake and chimney damper have to be throttled down but the baffle is really a big part of extended burn times too.

Someone got a 13 hour burn but it was only sufficient for 8-9 hours. That baffle is a big part of extended burns. Don't forget it if you order one. It's very expensive. Don, the owner says it will be handed down through the generations of your family. It supports the heaviest cast iron cookware but it's made of .6 mm titanium. The bottom has two layers for durability. It doesn't fold or break down for portability either.
