I also had some negative church experiences while growing up, and I am so glad that Jesus gave us the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5,6 & 7 and just laid it out so simply for how he wants us to live and what's important to Him. It's all about our RELATIONSHIP with Him and how we show His love to others. ❤
The working alongside each other is just a thing when you’ve got kids, work and life. Just don’t forget to stop and connect every day. Quality over quantity if that’s what you can squeeze in. ❤❤
There's a reason why the church follows the laws of the land, which is what happened when the LDS church stopped polygamy. The laws of the land would have to change before the church would even consider restarting something like that. And it certainly wouldn't be a commandment that everyone does it. God doesn't demand that kind of thing it's definitely a decision between a man and his wife.

If you don’t like cockroaches, you might want to re-think that Florida thing. They have Palmetto bugs, which are like cockroaches on steroids. I’ve seen them as big as my fist, while visiting family. Once, on a walk with my grandma one evening, as we passed under a palm tree, one fell out of the tree, onto my shoulder. Nope! Nope! Nope!

MY interest is in the Mormon Culture. My EX husband's Mother is Mormon and Father's family is Holiness- now that was a combination!! I can say she let it be known about my sweet tea and other things she didn't agree with.
The issue with religon is it is not taught to love God but to fear him. My whole life I have wanted to love God but he scares me. I have not always been a good person I have made mistakes. So sometimes it is eaiser to just not believe. I like the idea of Jesus when he was on this earth.

Okay, a total exaggeration but I never ran so fast! They are like June bugs or house flies down there. Most stay outside and prefer your yard. Don't let them scare ya. I say get a place to stay for 2-4 weeks and try it out.
