Three things about this government that have shocked me to the core recently (discounting the small boats debacle and dozens of other strange events and issues...) After well over a decade since the election of Cameron's Conservative government, and nearly a decade after Brexit, immigration into the UK reached the highest recorded figures in history. Somehow, millions and millions of people did not see this coming... The recent 'military conscription' poll showed that 83% of young people in Britain do not believe our society is worth defending. Which just goes to show, you can only kick a dog for so long... In many London boroughs, around a staggering 50% of social housing is allocated to foreign nationals. I only found this out today, and - to be honest - I'm still a bit shell-shocked.
Same as my old town Birmingham. As a boy in the 1960's, Brum was 99% white...you can see this on many You Tube uploads. Today, it is 70% ethnic, high unemployment, few pay council rent and even fewer pay council tax. "Calm yourself Tubb’s." Britain’s that local shop in The League of Gentlemen, but now located outside an Asda. It’s a local shop, for local people. "We didn’t burn him!"
Are you local?

Traditional Labour areas, usually in the North or Trent Valley, (or any other areas that had been done over by Thatcher and her successors) which voted for Boris and usually Brexit as well.
There's nothing for you here.
Is this john chap deluded? How has been in power for the last 13 years.
At 4:03 , is this guy John Hayes, for real ?
Sadly yes. Completely real and completely deluded.
John (the Brexiteer) instantly resorting to meaningless phrases and culture war claptrap.
And these nobs thing they speak for us.
You don't! Now just do the decent thing and call an election.
9:45 "I don't want to appease the people who do not believe in conseravtism" = = I will do anything to oppose anything, bad or good, if they are not in my club. you can all suffer for as much as I care as long as we get power, and I have power over you.
"as long as we get power, and I have power over you."
That's exactly what I heard too.
Zero magnanimity.
John Hayes is bonkers and always has been....
Dented,!!!!
The master of understatement.
The left-wing media. 😂
All they have done is ban ban ban
As a Tory grandee once said: The Conservative Party are the party of privilege. It is their job to protect privilege and how they get away with it is by giving just enough money to just enough people. This has always been their M.O.
Your guest on the phone isn't fit to be a part of our government unless he is prepared to include ALL OF OUR COUNTRY
The caller is not a conservative, he is clearly right wing. His comment about housing is as clear as day.
They are hoping for resurection of 2019 voters.... love it... keep it this way. 😂
All Torie MPs have played their part 👏
A bodyguard of liars
Dominic Grieve the old school real Tory v a half wit, good luck with that Tories the new Whig's history in the making at last , the political wing of the 1% and that's who is left to vote for you 1%
“Labour is more popular because the people want more conservatism” .....🤔
Can someone teach Hayes how to count please?
'Dented' is a considerable understatement. The pre-Boris Tory party always had my grudging respect. Now I have witnessed the moral vacuum and incompetence of its far right wing, I'm wishing for PR so such extreme 'thinkers' can form their own parties.
Trouble is, the dumb voters voted against PR. Voters have allot to blame for.
We don’t have a Conservative Party anymore and haven’t had one for years now.
Tories on 20% 😂 yeah really heading in the right direction
THE TORIES WERE HAPPY TO BACK HIM WHEN IT SUITED THEM BUT NOW THEY ARE IN THE GUTTER, THEY ARE CRYING ! THEY ARE ALL GUILTY !!
Dominic Grieve is a great Conservative.
Disraeli who was a true Conservative and a leading "Globalist" of his day. He showed Bismark how to do it.
The EU couldn't hold a candle to the British Empire. so that argument is dead.
Most of these people who go on about Woke and Globalists don't understand either word. The irony is that the people who go on most about the evils of globalism (like Farage) are themselves globalists entirely happy with hypercharged free trade and the export of jobs offshore.
What you on about?
He's dented The Tories? Dented?
Jumped up and down on, more like.
He may have only dented the CONservative party ( yeah right 😂) but unfortunately he put the entire country through the car crusher
Patriotism scroundrals?
The biggest problem with everything is that he was part of the reason why things went wrong because he and a few others were determined to stop any sensible decisions getting through parliament. This man is the problem!
Sunak the unelected has done more damage than Johnson.
It was Johnson who started the rot of the Tories, he dragged them into the gutter
No, Sunak didn't sell Brexit with lies and the total number of bodies piled high by Sunak is much smaller than Johnson's..
John Hayes supported Truss, says it all !!
And you’ve played your part sniping at every opportunity
Hayes is nuts.
John playing sound bite bingo...we need immigration and it is patriotic to be empathetic welcoming desperate people
If this country had an elected head of state Johnson would not have been able to do the protogation of Parliament. The Queen with all her advisers knew it was unlawful but can’t go against the Prime Minister recommendation.
The Queen's priority was always the preservation of monarchy and her family's wealth and privilidges
British public was much less important
And I don't think Charles is very different....
@@miras2222 That is precisely why we need an elected Head of State.
I used to be a monarchist until she failed to say NO to Johnson/Mogg's lie about proroguing parliament. She had a duty to defend democracy and the supremacy of the elected parliament over the executive and failed. She COULD have said NO it would have been unusual and against convention but it was necessary.
That said your analysis is good, the only thought is that if there had been an elected Head of State would Johnson not have fooled the electorate to vote him to that role too...
The problem with an elected head of state is that it could be someone like Johnson.
@@davidmullens2464Queen defending democracy? Monarchy based on hereditary power is the essence of the feudal system, which is, at it's core, totally opposite to democracy.
Hmm... is this the same Mr Grieve - half French and French educated - who himself lied regarding the Brexit referendum, or is that an entirely different Dominic Grieve...? Just asking...
Farmers dont like the eu and globalization
If by dented you mean totally written off,😮
🎉 Vote Alan. Or Double Alan 🎉
Three things about this government that have shocked me to the core recently (discounting the small boats debacle and dozens of other strange events and issues...)
After well over a decade since the election of Cameron's Conservative government, and nearly a decade after Brexit, immigration into the UK reached the highest recorded figures in history.
That is why Birmingham Council is bankrupt....due entirely to a shrunken tax base...much like America after White Flight.
@@malthusXIII-fo3ep I think its a bit sad to see bitter, disgruntled old farts like Dominic Grieve seizing on the opportunity to apportion blame. The truth is, successive Conservative governments have created the present mess via deliberate and systematic bad policy decisions. It seems their deceit, and their complete betrayal of the electorate, know no bounds.
Your country is in the toilet, because Conservatives have been given free reign, by an uncritical media, to rob us blind.
Not because Kofi came from Kenya, to feed our old people, or Pavel came from Poland, to fix your u-bend.
And yet the reason most don't want to defend it has nothing to do with immigration or there being more non white people but that's what the scapegoat will continue to be
Dominic, O' boy this dinosaur is back..him and Heseltine are bed partners cut from that same old very used cloth...
He's only 7 years older than your idol Boris.
It sounds very Petainist
I really couldn't even stomach listening to any more Tory diatribe but just going from the title above it was way more than just Boris Johnson and I'm guessing it's more than a 'dent'...... more like a total write off after a fatal collision.... with the British public!
I voted tory in 2019 for the first time (and last). I did this only as i wanted the media and politicians to talk about something other than brexit. I don't only want centre, id like a bit of left
This was the brilliance of Cumming's slogan "Get Brexit Done", to many it meant to Get Brexit gone. Unfortunately it was another Cummings/Johnson lie, the Brexit Psychodrama continues even now.
I think you mean demolished
Has he not seen the state of the EU
