Yaar Saurabh, I am extremely impressed with your work. This piece on Dalai Lama.is outstanding.
Dalai Lama's greatness just shows in all what he does. I wonder how he manages to keep bitterness away. At 85 years of age, he must once in a while be feeling events slipping out of his hands due to simple old age and the inevitable.
World has Seriously let down Tibetans, Palestinians primarily and many others too.
If you seriously think about the options the world has, ONLY liberal democratic and inclusive societies can solve religious, ethnic and race divides. Otherwise, people simply draw too many dividing lines. Tibetans are very unlucky to have landed with China with its authoritarian and oppressive regime. People just can't be free to live and practice their faiths. Tibet would have been very lucky to be independent or say join India. I am not advocating irredentism of any kind.
God bless Dalai Lama and the Tibetans. They will definitely have their place in the sun. China might be strong today and the world is scared of China. However, time does not stand still and rolls on crushing great powers and individuals under its might.

This is our India. We give refuse to prosecuted irrespective of their faith. India has done right thing to support Tibet and Dalai Lama. We are different from others and we should remain so. We were never aggressive and never killed innocents, never cause violence. We are opposite of China.
