I've never seen this approach to a Linux install. I did this differently. I installed Debian 12 on a separate physical drive, while Windows is installed on its own physical drive. Then I set the Debian installed drive in the BIOS to get boot priority. Grub recognises the Windows installation on the other drive, so when the computer boots, Grub loads and gives me the option of Debian or Windows. Windows and Debian are isolated physically from each other, which gives me security and less chance of Windows interfering with Debian.
Hey, is there any way to increase the size of partition after installation of Debian ? I followed all the steps given in this video, and the debain got installed properly. But now I feel that I should have created a large partition for debian.

Hey Sandip! Thanks for the video. I got unstuck (missed your quick moves where you hit the Restart button). I need your help, friend! These instructions helped me do what I needed to do but my process was slightly different in that I was doing a partition. Now, my other OS is nowhere to be found. Are you available for phone support?
@@fionat8812 maybe go into the boot menu and manually select windows boot manager and boot into windows , i actually use that method only just for me the things is vice versa , my linux which i just installed is nowhere to be found and my laptop automatically boots in windows
You have to boot from the debian ISO or else the grub menu won't show up, for anyone in the future (to do this automatically every time, put debian as the highest boot priority in your BIOS boot menu)

This means your Laptop/PC is too old to do this. Debian requires you to use UEFI in order to do such dual boot configuration. But since it can't use the entire drive it shits itself.
After install debian/or any distro in dual boot,, the windows doesn't work properly,, like the speakers don't work and many more. I have to reset bios again and again to fix this. Bro help me
you didn't showed us the most important part of the installation, and that is where to install GRUB Bootloader. therefore you video become useless to me , and im disliking the video.
Very straight forward, thanks for the help Sandip!
Thank you so much, your video helped me a lot sandip! keep posting more stuff on debian.
Thank you once again. God bless.
Don't directly choose gpt as partition,
You need to check for your partition it can be MBR or GPT

After I install, the grub bootloader is not showing, when I restart my PC it automatically boot to windows, why is that?
search for your boot menu key and tap it continusly till boot menu opens or get into bios setting and set your debian as booting priority
Configure Booting Setup on Bios, Make Windows Boot Manager as the first boot option
