Been listening to this since I was a Freshman in high school. Graduated in 2011. Bay Area for life!! Live your best life and enjoy what the Bay Area has to offer!!
Yee! Shoutout 206, I'm from the 510. Moved out there to 206 years ago and was super surprised when I met hella people who really knew Bay Area classics, I'd get approached all the time by people vibin to my slaps while I was bumpin and BBQin in my first ghetto apartment out there in Seattle area. Especially Nickatina and Mac Dre (RIP), Cutthoat Committee, Husalah, THE JACKA (RIP), 40 Water, etc. I made hella solid friends in 206 just off my old cd collection I had from growin up in Oakland, helped me connect with many solid individuals. Real recognize real.
@@ajack1889 Fasho. That's what we listened to out here mostly was the Bay. It's always been a connection to the Bay out here through pimpin'. Seattle always been part of the ho stroll. That's why we listened to a lot of the Bay, Houston and Chicago instead of East Coast. Sacramento is my second home too and I went to HS there. It's always been hella people from northern Cali and all the pimpin' cities here. Not as much now with the gentrification and the police so a lot of it goes to Portland when it gets hot. I'm 42 and Seattle was different in the 80s-90s. It's pretty trash compared to back then now. Nobody even kicks it in Seattle anymore bc it's too expensive and ain't shit to do compared to Renton and all over south of Seattle.
@@tenderlungs2065 Yup I've been here long enough to see the gentrification. Lol and I know all about the Highway and Aurora, shit's similar to E14 where I'm from or Fig in LA. Seems like South King County has heated up hella lately because of low income people being pushed out of Seattle proper movin down further and further to Kent area.
I’m like a shark if I start swimmin then the parties endin, I like that coco pimpin , I wear Egyptian linen, I like to cheat up in the game if I ain’t clearly winnin

Same. I like that line from Y-U-Smilin’… Where he says “I sport leather like an NBA basketball. I’m a hog I could never ever pass to y’all!”.
