Thank you for being a part of it, and if you enjoyed, please like and share the video and subscribe - it helps me out a ton! You guys ROOOOCK!!! On to the next one 😎
Dude, these sport quad restorations are no joke my favorite type of content on UA-cam, and you’re one of the very few people who creates content like this. I love watching these full in-depth restorations and you really go the extra mile in places where others probably wouldn’t (like using OEM Suzuki grease and fluids 😄). Please keep doing what your doing man 🤘🤘
I’m an old hare-scramble and enduro racer, long, LONG since retired. I used to tear my bike down and refurbish everything every winter. I had a partial sponsor that helped me greatly. Being professional and putting your best foot forward meant acting and looking your very best. I could never EVER afford a new bike. I always raced something that was a few years old, and I took a great deal of pride making a clapped out 5-6-7 year old bike look as new as possible. I stripped it to the bare frame every winter and did the best I could. I was a top 10 or so rider, never a “winner”. I just loved to compete, and I SO appreciated the help I got. I have a small idea what you have done on your builds. Your dedication and total attention to detail is so awesome. The Z-400 is a masterpiece. You should be extremely proud. I SO enjoyed watching it from start to finish, and I am an old fart 2 wheel guy. Congratulations on your beautiful build!
Bro, you never cease to amaze me. I feel like your quality just keeps getting better. I really hope you do a “cost breakdown” so we can see what to expect if we want to build a completely brand new OEM machine. They don’t offer most machines anymore and what you just did here is the ONLY way to get a brand new machine for most models.
@@MichaelSabo oh I bet it’s not. I live the z400/kfx400. I REALLY wanted a new KFX when I was younger, I loved the green. I imagine building a brand new one would be basically the same since they are basically the same machine
@@MichaelSabo really?? That’s wild. I do miss my old Z400, I should have never gotten rid of it. I got rid of it in 2015 after like 5 years of having it and the only issue I ever had out of it was the battery and clutch. I eventually built it up to race it but I had other life events push me to sell it. I have 9 project quads right now to get going and now my business is keeping me so busy I just haven’t had the time to mess with anything.
Your attention to detail is by far the best on youtube, in my opinion. You leave no stone unturned, and you do it the right way.. No half @$$ thrown together b.s.. Just iconic old school meets new school builds.
Can’t stress enough how much I appreciate your detail on every nut and bolt even getting coated. We know it’s pricey but these are truly a bike rebuild.
Came across your channel this week while considering getting my 03 running again. Love your dry sense of humor and video skills. I'll actually use this series to work on mine. Great step by step!
Also, to add another note. Back in 05-08 when I owned a yellowZ, everyone that rode it loved it and it was the most comfortable quad out of the other sports everyone had. Yfz/trx405s/raptor - the Z got the nickname “the couch” because the seat was so comfortable and the riding position was perfect. Like you said “it’s a rider” you could ride it WOT all day and not be fatigued at all and still have an absolute blast. Again, love the build.
Micheal that is a sick build. I'm 53 and have never seen anything on a dealer floor that comes close to the quality of build you do. Top notch my friend.
Mike! Everything about this quad is perfect! Do no change it please , a museum piece here ! Ok too used to drool over these when I was younger. Man you killed it
Excellent job Mike. That turned out great. I think the Z400 is such a great trail quad. Great engine with a great chassis & ergos. I would love to see Suzuki bring back the Z400. I was 11 in 1986 & like you remember falling in love with the new quads coming out at that time replacing the ATCs. My first quad in 1993 was an 86 Suzuki 230 Quadsport
Do any of the big four manufacturers ever reach out and complement you on the work you do to rebuild and promote their machines? Another awesome series!
Unreal! 👏 I've owned a yellow Z400 for many years, it was my first sport quad. The nostalgia is real on this! I've since moved onto a raptor 700r. But for all round fun the Z400 is where its at! Keep killing it 🔥💪
I really enjoy the builds you do. Your obsessive attention to detail is astounding. I really love seeing all these bikes from my youth and young adulthood put back to like new condition! Kudos to you!
Bada$$ machine🖤 I’m an owner of a LT250R TT bike.. proud to see this! Wish I had the funds to finish mine from frame up restore! I lack maybe 2k and it’s completely done!!
Dear Michael, I take my hat off to you and your work! What a project, it's absolutely amazing. I enjoy every minute of your videos here and on your second channel. It's great to see what a person can achieve when they put their heart and soul into something. Thank you for your great content and for being "human". I wish you safe journeys and send you greetings from Germany!
Brings back good memories to me also!! I miss them days being younger and going into like rays Yamaha in Exeter pa and looking at all the new bikes and quads!! Although in 2003 I was in my 20s. I'm taking about the 80s and 90s for me. You're builds are top notch!! But I'll bet they cost 4 times what the machine cost new. Times change and cost change as well!
Looking at the bike when u got it sat in the bushes all rusty n neglected to see it now looking absolutely mint shout out to you for your attention to detail and passion 👌 what a build this was to watch
Mike I gotta say that I truly love your attention to detail but mostly your production quality. It is top notch dude. Every little thing that goes into making not only the machines but even the videos is absolutely perfect. Keep up the amazing work sir 💯
Another great job 🔥😎 Mike you are killing it! This brings back so many memories for me. Things were were so much cheaper back in the day ! What happened? As always thanks for another great series!! Can't wait to see you ripping this one around! 💪✌️
Love your videos so much.. What a build! One small thing at the end with the reveal, when your filming handheld, in post add a 'warp stabilizer' (assuming your using PP) those little jittery movements (which is normal when filming handheld vs gimble) will be ironed out mate. Great work as always
Killed it ! You saved Her from the crusher and put your own spin on it, looks awesome Mike. You busted ass on it. I'm just going to miss you at the Badlands but will get there for sure and I hope to meet you and ride. I built my Raptor 700 and there would be no greater honor than to ride out with ya man. Looking forward to it . GREAT JOB !!
Amazing! That thing is perfect! This build and the ASPCA Raptor 660 are my favorite 2. I ride an 02 660 and my brother and Dad ride an 03 and an 04 LTZ 400.
Wow Mike I’ve watched the blaster series and both the banchee series and now the Z400 your great at what you do and how you do it you rock your attention to detail is outstanding and the best on UA-cam. Can’t wait to see what you do next.
Honestly Mike, the amount of detail and money you spent in these builds I want to know who you work with. It's common to say who's good to work with and who isn't on projects like this. It's not like you're building these to make a profit, but are building them because you love them. With that being said your passion for these will lead you to find good companies to work with that have higher expectations. By the way, it's nice to see someone the same age as me getting excited like a kid with atv's🤟
Mike to say this is impressive is putting it lightly!! It's show quality for sure!! You killed it again great job man keep it up I can't wait to see what's next!
Lovely build, or resto-build, Mike!! Just make sure you have coolant in there before startup, cause pump seal damage will result. Looking forward to the videos following the event! Exquisite!!!
awesome build Mike im also restoring mine . new plastics and many other new parts im around 2,200 in but not finished . awesome job and you should be proud of yourself . great job .
Hey Michael I stumbled across your channel a few months ago when I was doing some work on my 4 wheelers. At the time I had a 400ex, Z400, and a CFMOTO 500. Fast forward almost a year later and I ended up selling all of those and went back to my original passion of restoring/fixing emerging classics. Althought I don’t have any 4 wheelers anymore I loved my Z400 and your videos inspired me to continue to wrench on what I like even if it seems like it never ends. Right now I recently got a 1996 z28 SS that I plan on keeping for a long time as it will be my 2nd project car. I appreciate your videos and watching your journey as it reminds me that as the end of the build its always worth it!
It’s amazing the detail you go into for not only the quad, but the video as well. I love the content you put out. When you are ready for your next project let me know. I have a 2014 Can Am DS 450 MX id like to get rid of.

It looks GREAT!! but under the fuel tank cover, there are 2 push pin locations by the steering shaft. What goes in them?
Loved every step of the way! Great video man super cool build series.
Looks crazy good I want to build some thing similar in the future. But looks so good🔥🔥 definitely worth the wait
Where did you get all the original hardware from? I need one for an LT 80
Correct choices every step of the way! Looks gorgeous!
2024 ltz400. Can’t think of a single person who wouldn’t absolutely love that bike. Looks perfect. Great series!
Thanks so much! 🤘

I love that someone is restoring these old quads. Such a nostalgia vibe. They don’t make them like they used to, or if at all.
MIKE!!! You gotta do a warrior build man you would kill it!

Awesome story and compliment Dan. Thanks for sharing and for watching my story; I'm glad to hear we have the same passion 🤘
Unreal finish to an amazing build! Loved seeing the before and after shots. Going to be tough to top this one!
Glad you could be a part of it man. Thanks again for the Pryme products and for watching the series 🤘
You could top it Cameron...you got the skills...just don't use a welded case🤣
That suzuki blue and yellow is so iconic looks so cool , made me laugh 4 side panels later and then you stick a decal over the area anyway 😂
If it weren't for the time element, I might mess with it more lol
THAT PLASTIC COLOR BOTHERS HIM ....BUT THE WELDED CASE DIDN'T 🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣 WTF

One of the best atv build series to date. Not sure how you can top these videos!
Wow!! What an incredible transformation… WAY too clean . Cannot believe it turned out this nice . Wicked build .

Of course looks above and beyond Mike! You can take the ignition switch apart and clean it, I can confirm this.

Second quad you've done that I've had, absolutely loved the Z. Brings back alot of great memories. Great job Mike
Sure does bring back the memories - glad you enjoyed and thank you for watching!

Man that thing is absolutely beautiful! I regret selling both of the ones I've had. They're the best sport quad in my opinion.
