- yoo in this one I played godfall and it isn't a very well liked game by the community. so knowing this, I decided to jump in for myself and see if I actually enjoyed it or not.

Godfall is one of those good games that suffered from oversaturation in the industry
Extremely unfortunate
Nah it suffered from too little too late. The core of the game and idea of it was amazing but it was plagued with too many issues at launch that took WAY too long to fix. Alot of ideas were never fleshed out and problems from day one persisted until support stopped. The game was supposed to be alot more than what it was but unfortunately like alot of other games, devs just continued to be stubborn about certain things that players wanted. Can't implement everything but there were alot of things we as a community agreed on. They chose to ignore it so people left. Had nothing to do with over saturation its all about how the game is handled and this one was handled very poorly.
Truth..I have several hundred hours in it...and I've enjoyed unlocking cosmetics/gear the old fashioned way...by playing lol
Creating various builds and seeing how far I can get in the aToT is Hella fun imo.

I have been playing the game since last week and putting the hours in. I finished the story but overall only like 5% of it since there are weapons and all that and you can even get your valorplates upgraded and i dont understand it either. I mean the grind is a little boring but im all for grinding, since i play warframe and i have to grind and wait a lot in that too! I loved the review btw, imma sub
Yeaa it does feel like a grind but the game made it feel like it’s not all for nothing cause i was getting some really cool weapons. I’ve also been planning on making a warframe video as well! Really glad you enjoyed, I really appreciate it!

Video was solid homie no bs I actually sat here and watched through the whole gameplay while godfall isn't my cup of tea the intro and editing i can tell you take time with your videos , the fact that I'm going through watching your previous videos shows the effort, im leaving a comment like this because i know getting those bot comments from people who dont even watch the video can be annoying "Wow Great gameplay" "this is a game " "Got a full watch from " keep up the pressure bro !

I second this guy, you make some criminally underrated content for how small a creator you are at the moment, hope the grind pays off and keep it up.
This game is so fun and i dont get why it got alot of hate. When you get the combat, parry/block and takedowns flowing it feels satisfying. When you get to end game the enimies can put real pressure on you and make it feel like a souls game where you cant just button mash your way through. Worth the play especially the challanger edition as skips to end game and gets straight to the grind.
Yeaa that’s what im saying. I hate that i had to go in for my first time under the impression that the game is bad but im glad i went in with an open mind. Really had a great experience even though I wish i started from the beginning
Basically, the issues this game had at launch was: take everything you enjoyed in the game now, and it was all functionally and technically WORSE at launch. The story had some improvements, Soras and Revanna actually have a presence beyond the tutorial and additional dialogue and details and the missions had some tweaks to them. its overall better but the story has some issues. the LORE is awesome, but it feels completely detached from what you experience. The Kraven are a stand out example of this. The GOOD of the game now though, is absolutely the Loot at the ways to obtain it. Dreamstones are incredibly rewarding, where they used to be the worst, grindy portions of the game. Lightbringer didn't exist before and nore did the Cursed items that came with it. The Tower of trials was simply less rewarding and before, barely giving you any keys, which has now been fixed and dramatically improved. Spirit realm was a neat addition to the game, even allowing for more then just 3 people to play, if I recall correctly. Valorplate Shards didn't exist before and nor did the cosmetics, aside from a few shift codes and pre order bonuses. (by the way, do look up the shift codes and you get some cool skins, including one that makes Hinterclaw look like the boss-fight version of Macros, and another that makes Silvermane look like it did in the opening cinematic.) Overall, they dramatically improved every aspect of the game as of the final patch. Its a fun game I like to jump back into from time to time. Also the best rarity based loot system I have experienced, Where it acts more like a "trait filter" so even items that drop as green can be end-game viable depending on the kind of build you are going for, and you can enchant them to legendary status!
Wow even after posting this a year ago I’m still learning new ways on how the game flopped at launch 😂 even though it wasn’t something I experienced for myself being that this was the first time I played, fans of the game have every right to be pissed off based on what you guys tell me. I appreciate you for taking the time and enlightening me on more game info and I’ll definitely check out those shift codes too! 🙏🏽

Yea I would say that’s worth it. Even though I was able to play for free, $6 isn’t bad if you wanna try it out

it tried to be too many things at once
slow swing animations for the character, a lack of animation cancellation and many enemy attacks that need to be either dodged or countered is just the start
if you enjoyed it, more power to ya, but that doesn't make it good

I just started playing this game 2 days ago and I'm enjoying it. I didn't read or watch any video of reviews of the game. It feels like a Warframe crossed with Destiny.
Yea this game is really dope. A lot of people go off of others opinions without thinking for themselves but I ended up enjoying it as well. I do kinda see the similarities now that you say that 😭
But I'm enjoying it and I do have to say the Brother fight was not easy🤣 but it was fun

Just not a fan myself. Went in blind before reviews and still disliked it. Graphically it's fine, but the gameplay and everything was just lacking for me.
Yea that’s understandable, a lot of people felt the same way. Personally, it doesn’t take a lot for me to really like or dislike a game. Just being open minded and having fun is enough for me 😂
@@kyvito I'm fairly easy going on games myself, but the amount played vs how much was there for me didn't really sit well with me either.
I even got the DLC, but it didn't add enough to keep me going long term.

This game was really good ppl these days follow crowds like sheep and they see that everyone else hates it so they hate it themselves so they can say that they agree with everyone else the ppl who "reviewed" the game didn't understand the mechanics and didn't unlock half the abilities 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
I use to main crypto on apex 😂 but yea you hit it spot on, a lot of people would rather follow the crowd instead of trying something out for themselves

The entire point of Reviewers is to give an in-depth look at a product which will help consumers gauge whether the product is worth the money or not. I don't know what reviewers you watch but here is Skill up's in-depth review of the game, a completely fair negative review from someone who played all the way to end game and actually gave the game a chance.

@@kyvito Yo, great editing from a small channel, color me impressed. Anyway while I do agree that people should try out things for themselves, this game was sold for 70$ on launch... I don't know about you but I wouldn't spend 70$ on something I don't know whether it will be good or not and 2 hours is not enough to get this information on such a game.

I’m usually someone who likes to go into things with high hopes so I got to play for free and I genuinely enjoyed playing it so I can see why some people who paid $70 for it would disagree
I'm not gonna lie tho, when I heard of this game I had biased excitement since it's made by Gearbox the people who made the borderlands games. One of my favourite game series

I bought this day 1 with my ps5 day 1 and this game was wet trash. Assume its changedva bit. Still probably couldnt get my $70 out of it i imagine. Was like 6 or 8 ppl. Everyone had like idr 5 or 6 abilities ? There were about a total of 50 enemies and a couple bosses i think. That boss was in the original part of the game as well.
I feel you man. The majority of the fan base also thought this game was doo doo butter on launch. I just waited long enough to get it for free and without money as a factor I was able to pick out some of the good things this game had to offer
I’m gonna be honest I bought this game because the art-style looks like something I rock with "but it is just unbelievably boring. And I have to remap all the controls completely

The game is great, and it does what it supposed to do. It's hack and slash looter with a lot of grinding, and that's what it is. Haters on the other hand, will always be some spoiled brats who never created anything in their lives and the only thing they know how to do well, is to spend their parent's salaries.
