Hi lovely! This is such a random question out of all the catch ups in this vlog but please could you share how you travel with Nellie in the car? I.e. the set up for his journey?
I’m moving from London to Glasgow in Feb and we’ll be driving our little indoor kitty all the way up and i’m worried her vet crate will be too small for the whole way! Any tips please share xx
Hiya, I moved from Northants to just outside Glasgow nearly 5 years ago and brought my two cats up with me- they were fine in their normal baskets, I think it made them feel a bit more secure and safe to be in a smaller space. I tried to make it so they couldn't see too much out the windows in case the outside moving quickly past freaked them out. I lined the baskets with puppy pads in case of accidents and changed them partway through the journey sitting in the back seat with the car doors closed so they couldn't get out! I didn't feed them the morning of the journey so they wouldn't be sick. They were a little scared at the beginning but honestly they just settled down and slept a majority of the way there!
Have done the journey a couple of times since to visit family (once alone while 8 months pregnant as my husband was deployed- fun 😅) and the biggest disaster was my little girl cat pooing and having to be cleaned up with wet wipes at the services 🙈 but other than that it's been fine!

I hope you're not going to be offended by my comment. You do know that America is a continent and not a country, right? You're going to the states, the USA, not America. I know, it's a habit Europeans in general have to call the States America, my Italian in-laws say the same and it irks me. FYI... I am Canadian, and Canada is also on the American continent. Food for thoughts....
