Kelly Clarkson won a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album with Stronger. She was nominated for 3 Grammys that evening.
She performed a tribute to Patty Page and Carole King consisting of Tennessee Waltz and Natural Woman.

I was at this Grammy show in person. I sat literally 20 feet away from Kelly when she performed. She literally blew the roof off the Staples Center. And there were many awesome performances that night. But hers was the best.

Back when people weren’t triggered or offended they didn’t win. Everyone looked so happy for her.
I've been a huge fan of hers since her American idol days. She's an amazing singer and has managed to tackle multiple musical genres and slay. She's also stayed true to who she was before fame which in the industry is a rarity.

Well if she was, she sings great drunk too. Although she said she only had a couple sips from someone else’s drink that night. People thought she was drunk during her acceptance but she swore she wasn’t, she said it would have been less embarrassing if she was drunk because at least she could have an excuse lol.
