This man's music has a way of reaching a part of your soul that just makes you feel things, remember things, and wish for things that haven't even happened yet.
As a 45-year-old war veteran, I’ve lost every relationship and failed at everything. One day, I was crying in bed and prayed to God. I told Him I had nothing to offer but my broken heart. He spoke to me, saying, “It’s okay to fall apart, I’ve got you.” Then He said, “I’ve got amazing things in store for you, just trust me.” 3 weeks later Seeing my life turn around for the good and God using Teresa Janette Brock, who changed my life. After reading about her, I found her website and reached out. Her kindness led me to a business venture I never imagined I’d enjoy. Her guidance gave me a new sense of purpose and community. Now, I feel more fulfilled and happier than ever. This song and Teresa’s influence have been true blessings in my liFe,;

I haven’t seen my “boy from East Tennessee” in almost 3 years and literally think about him all the time. It just didn’t happen for us even though we were both into each other. Having him in my life was one of the best years of my life.
I don't know how many times I've played this and replayed it over and over again. There's something about it that grips me and brings me to tears almost. It's what might have been. I think we all have a little of that in our lives. It's hard to revisit. But I do it time and time again when I hear this song and I'm absolutely addicted to it. Love You Morgan Wallen. Love your style, love your energy, love your Independence and I am absolutely and fanatically in love with the song
I’m 60 years old and grew up on old and what was new country then and new thru the decades. Conway, Earl Thomas Conley, Keith Whitley, George Strait and so so many other great artist and songwriters. Your voice, style and song quality is as good or better than anyone I’ve heard. I pray you stay true to your craft, your music moves peoples mind and soul. I hope to see you in West Palm Beach.
Songs like this remind us that there only so many inning and quarters in our lives to play. And only so many hearts we’ll break or times ours will be broken…
This song hit me right in the feels. Legit lump in the throat. Never has a song hit me like that. This kid kicks ass. I can't get enough of the music. 🤘🏽
It’s been awhile since I heard a song that stopped me dead in my tracks. Takes me back to a place in time where I can’t help but shed a tear and a smile. We’ve gone down our own paths but I still think of that guy from 7+ summers ago. He’s nothing more than a cherished memory to this day…

My wife and I moved to Navarre beach in 1996. Just in time for hurricane Erin and opal. We found florabama shortly after that. We were there and it was totally awesome. Our names are on that wall. Unfortunately our journey ended on 11/25/2021 when our son took his own life. My world stopped that day and hers too. She left me the same day and I haven't seen or talked to her since. I'm now homeless and really don't give a crap about anything. Seeing this video brings back some good memories. Donna and I were married 39 years. Justin was 37 when he left us. Can't wait till the lord takes me. I would give my life just to see him one more time. Thanks for the memories kenny
I had never heard of him until I caught his performance on SNL and wow, what a song. Morgan, Jason Aldeen is now pushed to the back and replaced by this gorgeous singer. WOW♥️
I am Afghan, and others should learn from this musical team and Morgan on how to create outstanding songs. The poet, the voice, and the lyrics are remarkable. Music is a universal language.
I agree since it released. It was added to my favorites instantly. Just like his new song "I Wrote The Book" and older "Whiskey Glasses". Huge Masterpieces
There just something special about this song that makes you have a better view of life and appreciate everything you have in the moment and makes you look back in time and want it back
My daughter ask if I heard of Morgan Wallen? No she played a song at our business. I wasn't so impressed. On my tractor in Northeast Oklahoma I heard this song. I was so proud to tell her it's on my Playlist. I just love it!
I don't know how it's even possible, but country music can make me kinda nostalgic for a world I've never been and never seen. It calms down and gives a feeling of infinity of time as if our life is not so short at all. It gives me meaning and desire to keep living through this difficult time.🤗
I don’t ever cry but this song made me tear up. It made me think about my life and all the mistakes I’ve made. I’m glad I’m alive and I know it’ll get better.
Another great one! This kid hits the nail on the head every time..I'm 51 yes old this song takes me back to the mid 80's!! Definitely brings a tear to my eye listening to this! 7 yrs ago this Summer... Going thru a divorce. Girl moved in behind me and we had a great Summer. But I was not in any place to have any kind of relationship..my world was a mess...and I needed to get my shit straight. she wanted something more serious and met someone and eventually got married, and moved away. I am still single and lovin life, no regrets.. Wouldnt change it for anything. Worked out for both of us. But I still think about that Summer of 2014..damn it was something we both needed. You never know where life will take you. This Song brings back that Summer..
Am absolutely head over heels with Morgan.. his voice is so impeccable and a different rare voice to... i literally hit repeat on alot of his songs... his song Somebody's Problem is my new ringtone.. i had 7 Summers for my ringtone..but i just changed it this morning...❤💕❤
For my whole life the music that surrounded me was pop and rap. After the years went on, it wasn’t really moving me. After a phase of just being lost in what kind of music I should listen too, I come across this song. I’ve always knew of the genre country music but never gave it a chance cause I had the wrong impression of it. After giving it a chance, I will never forgive myself in not coming here sooner❤️
Everyone has the wrong impression and just doesn't give it a chance. Obviously all of it isn't great, like anything. Glad you came around, enjoy all the awesome music. I recommend Ashley Monroe, And Luke Combs.
This encapsulates summer 2022 for me. All I listened to with my best friends. Some of my best memories were made this summer and every time I hear this song I feel the same feeling I felt all summer. Listening to this 7 summers from now is sure gonna be crazy🤣
I like ur idea, but I think it's about 2 love struck young people who knew they wouldn't last in the long run..they loved passionately but their life plans didn't align & it's sad..I hope everyone who wants that love finds it someday🙏
My little town of 100 has taken better care of me more then any girl ever had and it made me who I am and it's all I have known better then any dam city

Listing to Alabama, Dolly, Kenny, Bob Seger etc in the 70’s, early 80’s along with the Eagles, Genesis, Jefferson Starship, Hall and Oates, Bee Gees etc along with the great black singers during that time I just see this as nothing but good music. Soon as I heard it on a Instagram post I was like wow. Good music attracts those who loves good music. So glad I grew up due in the 70’s and definitely the 80’s. Music from all genre was a major part of our daily life!!!! Miss going to record stores and the music stores in the malls and being able to listen before you buy!!!

I pray that no one in the chat knows what struggling 7 summers over a love feels like.
I do😢
I am right now. I met someone amazing 7 summers ago and haven't seen them since. Sometimes I wonder how life would be so different if I just didn't say one thing.
So He's Struggling Over His Love From 7 Summers Ago?
8 summers ago... life moves on but sometimes it's hard to do
The memories stay but gotta live life
I started really listening to music about a month ago and I will say Morgan chris stapleton and george strait are constantly on repeat
Thank you for much for your love and support you’ve shown to me and my music, I love y’all ❤️. If you want to reach out to me privately here is my email address morganwallen.countrymusic1@gmail.com
I haven’t seen my “boy from East Tennessee” in almost 3 years and literally think about him all the time. It just didn’t happen for us even though we were both into each other. Having him in my life was one of the best years of my life.
I hope you see him again someday
I miss the gal from 7 summers ago. Best summer of my life
I feel you on that.
Reach out to him
I moved on, you should too.
Thank you so much , and I love you too thanks for the lovely feedback
Thanks for the lovely feedback, I love you too and keep streaming
If you REALLY want to cry, listen to Morgan Wallen's song "Thought you should know". Good Luck! 😭
I must have listen to this song 200 times by now and it never gets boring. One of my all time favourites songs forever. Just beautiful 💜💜💜 xx
@__morganwallen We sure are, and we're looking for more of your great songs. Wishing you great success for the future from the United Kingdom. 🤞🙏
Going through a break up where you dont really know what went wrong and you still miss her like crazy….. this song definitely hits home

It’s been awhile since I heard a song that stopped me dead in my tracks. Takes me back to a place in time where I can’t help but shed a tear and a smile. We’ve gone down our own paths but I still think of that guy from 7+ summers ago. He’s nothing more than a cherished memory to this day…
Hello how are you
Mine was 51 summers ago... still think of her every day and smile
This song still hits me deep today like it did when it was first released. Crazy how music can do that sometimes. One of my all-time favorite songs

Just
My wife and I moved to Navarre beach in 1996.
Damn g hope you find a way

I had never heard of him until I caught his performance on SNL and wow, what a song. Morgan, Jason Aldeen is now pushed to the back and replaced by this gorgeous singer. WOW♥️

I am Afghan, and others should learn from this musical team and Morgan on how to create outstanding songs. The poet, the voice, and the lyrics are remarkable. Music is a universal language.

Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs are by far my favorite country artists.
Let's all agree that this song is a masterpiece, it did not fail to make us happy
Yes
Agreed
❤❤❤❤
I agree since it released. It was added to my favorites instantly. Just like his new song "I Wrote The Book" and older "Whiskey Glasses". Huge Masterpieces
…and still continues to do so 😊
Everytime I put the song on I have to press repeat. ♥️♥️♥️😍😍😍
Hello how are you

Oh my goodness, I heard this song in my car and it hit me right in the heart. It takes me to a beautiful place, thank you, Morgan.
At least I'm not the only one stuck in the past
Absolute chills whenever I hear this song. Simply beautiful.
7 summers ago, I met my first love. I don’t miss her anymore, but I miss the memories. I’m much closer to 30 than 21. This song gets it
This song just breaks your heart 💔..."But I wonder when you're drinking if you find yourself thinking about that boy from east Tennessee."
This is the kind of song where you HAVE to roll your window down to listen to it.
Agree !
Or smoke some clip and slam some shots back
This song makes you feel either way: High 🙏or Dead🙏
Yesssss ☀️😊💋
@Morgan Wallen thanks for the great music and bringing us back to some good old memories
It gives me meaning and desire to keep living through this difficult time.🤗
be honest Morgan Wallen is the reason the mullet is popular again

I don't know how to explain it but it's like this is how music is supposed to be,his voice reminds me of heaven.
Plain and simple this is a classic well written and delivered country song.
once warmer weather rolls around, I find myself having this song on repeat
yep!
I don’t ever cry but this song made me tear up. It made me think about my life and all the mistakes I’ve made. I’m glad I’m alive and I know it’ll get better.

Thanks for your love and support
For my whole life the music that surrounded me was pop and rap. After the years went on, it wasn’t really moving me. After a phase of just being lost in what kind of music I should listen too, I come across this song. I’ve always knew of the genre country music but never gave it a chance cause I had the wrong impression of it. After giving it a chance, I will never forgive myself in not coming here sooner❤️
Same here bro 💪
Everyone has the wrong impression and just doesn't give it a chance. Obviously all of it isn't great, like anything. Glad you came around, enjoy all the awesome music. I recommend Ashley Monroe, And Luke Combs.

I love that you have made it to country music! It has so much meaning and it brings out feelings in you that you didn’t know you were able to feel

This song makes you stop in time and miss teenage love. That kind of dreamy love.
When women say they love a man with a mullet they’re really just saying they love Morgan Wallen.
Hahaha 😂 I think you're right..
I’m a woman and I can validate this statement.
🤣🤣🤣
True
Yes this so very true 😂
This encapsulates summer 2022 for me. All I listened to with my best friends. Some of my best memories were made this summer and every time I hear this song I feel the same feeling I felt all summer. Listening to this 7 summers from now is sure gonna be crazy🤣
First time I played this song I proposed to my wife. I sang it to her and poured her a glass of wine. It was exactly 7 years ago we met. Thanks Morgan

It’s because he couldn’t love her more than his hometown.

16 summer with my wife this year and it still feels like the first… looking forward to as many as god gives us together.
As I learned from someone who went to school with Morgan for 2 years, nearly every song he writes is about a previous life event.

This song is stupid awesome! Just now listening for the first time and I was hooked from the 20secs.
Lyrics:
Yeah, you used to talk about
Gettin' even further south
Somewhere where the summer lasted all year 'round
Probably got a big ol' diamond on your hand right now
Maybe a baby or a couple by now
Long driveway to a big white house
But I wonder when you're drinkin'
If you find yourself thinkin'
About that boy from East Tennessee
And I know we both knew better
But we still said forever
And that was seven summers of Coke
And Southern Comfort
Were we dumb or just younger, who knows?
Back then you used to love the river
And sippin' on a sixer with me
Does it ever make you sad to know
That was seven summers ago?
Yeah, I bet your daddy's so proud
Of how his little girl turned out
Think she dodged a bullet
Of a good ol' boy like me
'Cause I still go drinkin', same friends on Friday
Bought a few acres, couple roads off the highway
Guess you never saw things my way, anyway
But I wonder when you're drinkin'
If you find yourself thinkin'
About that boy from East Tennessee
And I know we both knew better
But we still said forever
And that was seven summers of Coke
And Southern Comfort
Were we dumb or just younger, who knows?
Back then you used to love the river
And sippin' on a sixer with me
Does it ever make you sad to know
That was seven summers ago?

Soon as I heard it on a Instagram post I was like wow. Good music attracts those who loves good music. So glad I grew up due in the 70’s and definitely the 80’s.
