love the client stood watching you box with the trees ... almost as bad as the time we had a rake battle on site and the client watched out the window.
And also Jake when you mentioned Jed doing that notch in critical situations just hearing his name man breaks my heart I never met him but I've watched all his videos with you and him just an amazing soul all the way around man
Guys, you’re beyond brave. And all of that with the best team spirit I’ve seen, laughing all the time and pulling each other’s leg. Just can’t stop binge watching your videos. KEEP IT UP!
Out of all the tree guy youtubers, youre my favorite. Less shorts qnd more long form videos. I know Its hard to find time. Theyre awesome tho mam great job.
I actually just ordered an electric Makita saw. I had seen y'all talking positively about the little Husqvarna one so I decided to try out the Makita model since I'll be able to use their batteries for other tasks. I did verify before ordering that companies like Oregon support that model with bars and chains. I had always been reticent to try an electric chainsaw before.
Congratulations on hanging out your shingle! Great video, I remember when I went from climbing for someone else to working for myself and having a similar experience. Funny how a person does things almost without thinking working with a crew, then you're by yourself completely responsible for everything and all of a sudden you feel like you're brand new. May not have been as smooth as you wanted, but you didn't cut it off the stump and eventually got it on the ground where you wanted with people and property safe....doesn't get any more professional than that. Thanks for sharing reality.
Congratulations 🎊 Jacob on the new baby 👶 So 🍼 May 🥰 our Lord Jesus bless you even more with so much work, You have to turn many jobs down over a period of time.
That was interesting all the way through. I saw that rotten tree and you climbing oup it I could see that the tree would probably collapse. I'm so glad you came down and worked out a better way.
Great video. I have the 14" bar Milwaukee top handle saw pre-ordered and can't wait to get it. I'm a bit north of you guys, but you're welcome to try it out when I get it.
Nice work! I think the key when assessing these kinds of hazard trees for removal is determining what you are and aren't comfortable with. I mean you may not feel one hundred percent comfortable with the situation, but do you have confidence in your plan and are you able to control any anxiety you may have so that you can get the job done safely? Nothing wrong with walking away either. Keep up the great content.
😂😂😂😂 “ as soon as I see it go I’m taking off like um well as fast as a 230 pound man can” idk why but that had me going and the whole forgetting you had your saw with you 😂
No way I'd climb a sketchy tree like that. Then was thinking it was gonna break off stump while you were still messing with face cut (before back cut). Glad you guys got it down ok.
That has got to be the very first time I have seen you miss the humboldt cut! I have watched every video you have up to this one starting in mid December. Today is 4/13/2024 I have not only learned a few tricks but it seems like I have gotten to know you, Randy, Gordy and a few others on this trip. Gee! By any chance are you associated with Sappy Supplies? LOL LOL LOL
Yall got bigger balls than me. I’ve been climbing cottonwoods for 20 years and I would not go up into skinny tops like that. Especially considering there was space to fall a bigger tops. Good luck 🍀
Beautiful work men, instead of your grcs an block set up I highly recommend the rock exotica 5-1 with a prusic keeper. Ir only weights like 4 pounds and is WILDLY POWERFUL/reliable 🤘
Just bought a 540i top handle do you prefer the BLI200X batteries or the 300 batteries? Do the 200 batteries last long enough to finish limbing a tree normally?
Randy: Get my saw will you. Jake: Where is it, can´t see it? Randy: Oh wait, that´s strange, it is right here, hanging outside my pocket. Silence Randy: now that i think of , why shouldn´t i keep it ? After all, it came to me, it is mine...
What an enjoyable afternoon, I didn't even have to leave the house to laugh the afternoon away, plusher to watch two of the HOTTEST lumberjacks on long stuff MEAT with there equipment ready in hand, ofcourse you are the only two timber men I watch. Be safe and watch each others meat. Lots of love. Afriend.
Cottonwood is a pretty wood! Love vids with you and Mandy Randy teaming up. 😊 (I think I like Dandy Randy better 😉) Awww, congratulations on the newest family member! 🥰🎉
What is the ratchet box called that you used to pull the tree. I can’t find it. Thanks for the videos. I’ve learned a lot from you…. And big Randy. The big R. lol. Thanks again
Bunch I used to climb for laughed at me for chokin my climbline like that…too much time they said…oh well..gives me a way to come off the spurs if a leg cramp comes ands the best way to tye in on a slick spar..and may save from slidin in a gaff out…good work fellers..stay safe….matt
I’ve been watching you forever now and since day one I’ve thought you look exactly like the actor Emile Hirsch please look him up it’s insane the similarities
I see you guys have the Wyatt more power puller I bought one about 6 months ago one of the best things I've ever bought it's definitely worth the money I've pulled some huge leaners with that
That area looks like a classic example of an overgrown forests. There are too many trees competing for water, and when you have less than average rainfall, some of the trees die. There are many places here in the Sierras where there are hundreds or even thousands of acres that look like that, and some are even worse, to the point you can't even walk through the forest.
Curious, why not put the winch on a tree away from the projected path of the falling tree, snatch block on the tree in the projected fall area? We use this method often. Much safer.
That little Toyota was on the road long before most common bigger trucks of today's roads were, and it'll still be on the road after they're gone. I had a '91 with the 22 R-E engine, and the guy I sold it to is still driving it everywhere he goes. He treats it like shit, just like I did, and it just keeps running anyway. My current '09 that I bought new 14 years ago, is used and abused most days, and it doesn't seem to want to die either.

Mad props to Randy's ground guy for hooking up his saw without him noticing 😂
I know it’s hot out and all but Randy needs to grow out the stash forever. That’s a very controlled and impressive fell job Jacob.
"They don't blow up gently." 🤣🤣🤣 Great work as always, guys. 👍 (Who stole Randy's facial hair? 🤔😆)
Forking beautiful hinge scene. I felt that in my heart and soul. Great job guys!

Randy: Get my saw will you.
Jake: Where is it, can´t see it?
Randy: Oh wait, that´s strange, it is right here, hanging outside my pocket.
Silence

What about that other tree?
Did you clme back for it?
I’ve been watching you forever now and since day one I’ve thought you look exactly like the actor Emile Hirsch please look him up it’s insane the similarities
26:25 it looks surprising that this foamed wood hinge withstood such compression and did not break away prematurely
I see you guys have the Wyatt more power puller I bought one about 6 months ago one of the best things I've ever bought it's definitely worth the money I've pulled some huge leaners with that
Chainsaw chainsaw needs to pay you some proceeds proceeds 😂

Do you leave it where it lands or haul it out
Sweet!
And Jake your opinion do you think the grcs has more pull than the more power puller
Greetings from the BIG SKY. Big tree. I once walked around my house with my truck keys in my hand looking for my truck keys.
that is SKILL!!!! Swinging axe, with camera soo close, and not hitting it!!!!!👍
We going to get to see the new truck build out?
I love you guys together. Randy needs the porn stash back!! Lmmfao. Great content!!! Great learning!!
You guy's crack me up!Stay safe
สวัสดี จากไทย วิดิโอการทำงานที่ดี เสมอ❤
Hey how much do you charge to masticate a whole tree with a peavy?
