I have lived in Maine now for 7 years. I have had the chance to meet the Moose on a few occassions - I met one early in the morning in the North Maine Woods. I had been up all night in the tent because I kept hearing something outside in the water. I went down to the waters edge and there was a big female Moose getting her morning breakfast out of the pond!
