Hey friends! Long time no see, I am back in this episode wahoo and i'm with Tom all the way to Lands End for the final push! This was the worst weather Tom had experienced in the whole two months before I joined! It was a baptism of fire for sure! Shout out to our long term sponsor Surfshark for keeping us fed and watered on this walk haha, and to all you wonderful people for watching. If you would like to try out Surfshark please use our link surfshark.deals/transit and enter promo code TRANSIT for an extra 3 months free. Take care and I hope you're wrapped up warm in this wintry weather! Iz xxx
Welcome back guys, miserable weather but you just brightened my day. It has been very unsettled and lots of rain everywhere .Don't stay in the tent if it's leaking in water ,your health is more important. Stay safe and dry if possible .Missed you guys.
However, given the autumn weather in Wales and your long walking journey, I would advise you to wear Gore-tex jackets. Isa is a tough competitor, other girls would have given up long ago, but not Isa. Well done, Isa. 👍
Great to see Iz again but what a start to her walk, rain, gales etc., so sorry you are both soaked. I bet you were so pleased to see that B&B, I’m amazed you managed to dry your kit in the bedroom!! Good luck for the rest of the trip. What an achievement! Cheers Mike 🍷🍷👍
My oh my, that looked tough! Have been thinking for a while "Tom and Izzy will hopefully post the next stage of the journey soon"... it's lovely to see you back on the road and very sorry it had to be *quite* so cold and wet.
So, I am just really impressed with you two. I've been backpacking off and on since the 1970s. And yeah, sometimes you have to "embrace the suck," as they say here in the U.S. But you guys bounce back so well. Trust me when I say I have been there, in the rain, in near freezing temps, losing my religion, as it were. I've been so cold I could not properly speak, and so hot and dehydrated I thought I would pass out. I have never handled adversity with as good an attitude as you.
First time comment. Just saw the stock in the barn. Cherish that moment, it’s happened to us in Ireland 30 years ago and it’s still a core memory sitting in that shed, you will remember for the rest of your lives.
Talk about a challenging day or two, very happy to see you made it to the accommodation, and you are both feed, watered and ready for the next leg. Keep strong mentally 💪🏽
What an epic battle with the elements- glad to see you guys have emerged triumphant as usual! I never understood how in Victorian novels the worst thing that can happen is getting caught out in stormy weather out in the moors. Some rain, some wind, some darkness, I mean, we all get caught in the rain sometimes? 😂 I have a new understanding now 😅
Hi Tom and Izzy. Great to see a new vid. Those days in the rain looked awful for you both. Well done for keeping going. Hope the rest of your journey is better. Take care and keep safe.
welcome back, the weather certainly looked dreadful, good luck for the next section of your walk. Hope you are both proud of yourselves for undertaking this journey, I'm proud of you both. Take care and stay safe (and dry) ha ha. Cheers
That was such a gritty video guys but that's why I love what you do. You show the real you and your real adventures, "warts 'n all" so to speak. It can be intense to watch but ultimately a very rewarding experience for the viewer and yourselves 👍
That feeling you get when you gear down in the B&B...... nothing like it. Seeing the A400M fly through the valley was cool (I work where they build the wings for it). Looking forward to the next episode. Must be quite a good feeling having finished the entire trip. Bravo to you both🎉
hi Tom & Isabel Just to add love your channel following all your different countries you visited Lost in Transit I thoroughly enjoyed Toms walk I watched Even in the states it has been the highlight of my Sunday Good luck for the best of the walk & the weather improves for you Best wishes Ian
Welcome back to youtube! 🎉😊 (Remember that’s not mist on the hills in Snowdonia… it’s dragon smoke 😉) Epic drone footage at Cadair Idris 👏👏 Wow!!! What a welcome back to the journey for Izzy! 😬 SO scary! 🌧 At least you had each other to get through it!👍 What a Herculean achievement. Well done you two 👏👏👏👏
Well done Guys you will look back and be so proud of each other!! Such an inspiration, i know you're all done now, but keep going. Life is for living and you ARE ❤❤
Great to see you both back. Stunning pics from around Cader Idris....I've only been there once and I had the weather you experienced later in the video! Wet boots and feet are the worst!! Back in the day I loved staying in pubs on my journeys around the UK. Stayed at one near the Wye Valley which was so nice I went back there at least three times!
I’ve missed the videos for the last two weeks and am delighted your back now Sunday is back to normal was kinda worried that something was amiss and with Izzy back it’s a grand bonus So as always mind each other and stay safe 👍🏻🇮🇪☘️
Sorry just had to pause the vid and say the meaning of life is 42, if you know you know 😉 Sending you both lots of positive vibes. You're doing great, well done guy's ❤🙏💪
Hey Tom & Isobel wandering how you both are doing truly admire your determination through this challenging weather your walk through wales is very familiar to me having lived for 20 years so a lot of your walk was great to see & recognise y wythra Snowden and Cada idris I have climbed I lived in mid wales so used to cycle to north wales often I wish you both all the best continue your walk I have enjoyed your walk thank you tom for sharing it
Tom if that was worse than those days crossing Scotland then either it was really ****, or...you're starting to forget! I imagine at least your feet are better now than then? Really hope so. Well done Iz for getting through a nasty intro. Power on guys.
Welcome back Tom and of course Iz. Missed you guys and began to wonder if perhaps ye might have given-up on the adventure? Don’t do that!!!!! The inclement weather is just that…. Bad weather. I never give-in to inclement weather on my long treks. Push-on and your goal gets nearer.
Hi, not sure what happened to my comment (I probably forgot to press send 🙄 ) but we have an unused, brand new, all pieces in the bag, Gelert Chinook 3 tent if you want it. We seem to have accumulated nearly new or new tents over the years, this one was bought by my Daughter for a trip that never happened. Check out the spec online when convenient and, if you want it, just let me know where you want it posted. FOC, one less thing to store in the attic 😁
I happened to me once. I went to film a video in Mugdock Country Park (the West Highland Way runs through it). The thunder started, and then the rain. I tried to hide in the ruins of Mugdock Castle, but got soaked anyway, as I had to walk back about 2 miles, in the teeming rain, to get back to my car.
Amazing achievement Tom, I wish I could say I did something like this when I was once fit enough. You will look back at this in many years and be amazed you did this. 🫡
Good afternoon Tom and Izzy well I guess not such a good afternoon for you two heard there was horrid weather in the UK what a welcome for Izzy well at least you wound up at a pub b n b almost home stay safe see you soon from New Jersey 😘🌺🌸☕️☕️🎃🌨️⛺️
You have been missed. Really good to see some more footage. Wales is fab. but big BOO to "The Military" planes spoiling such an otherwise unspoilt area of land. Yeah I know they have been doing it for yonks (sadly) I remember seeing them in Wales the 1980s. Huge thanks for the vid. and Bravo to you both.
Oh. Look ..It's the lesser spotted Tom. Funny enough I stayed in the bothy near Moffat afew weeks ago and their was your name in the book. Made me laugh. Your a top guy would liked to have bumped into you.
We will actually be releasing a video this weekend, it’s not vanlife but I think we will be back in the van again one day, not sure I’m too keen on another British winter trip though, haha
Judging by the rate you were going and the fact that you havent posted for a month, I think the perceptive viewer will understand that either Tom took a month off his trek or the thing is finished already but with no other content they've decided to drip-feed us episodes as if they were still walking. I can understand why they might have done this but it somehow spoils the magic. Sorry chaps.
We said in the last video and did a community post saying that we were pushing to get back in time for a wedding so didn’t have time to edit while on the road, so editing them all now we have made it back.
I have not tried this yet but I will if it helps walking long distance, but maybe wearing very thin womens silk tights to stop chaffing, not sure if they would help leg rubbing once wet through, I have found wearing silk socks under my hiking socks somewhat helps preventing blisters!

Please keep doing what you both do. Followed your journey for years. ❤ Was thinking that one of the weddings Iz was attending would be her own……🙏🤗
To Tom🎉❤
Great to see you Guys back, I’m sure I speak for all of us in saying “we’ve missed you guys “ 😊

Wishing you both the best of luck with your travels 🚶🏽♀️ 🚶♂️ take care from Ireland 🇮🇪👊👊👊
Great to see you again. Love the video coverage. The clouds add a mystic element to the countryside.
Keep on living your dreams.
Do you not use dry bags to keep contents of ruck sack dry? Those back pack covers do not cut it during hard and persistent rain.
Well done! You are both so gutsy!🇨🇦
Sorry for the ghastly weather, but what you did film is beautiful. Thanks 😊🇺🇸

The bad weather just adds to the experience making it more memorable. :)

I happened to me once. I went to film a video in Mugdock Country Park (the West Highland Way runs through it). The thunder started, and then the rain. Hard slogging; keep the faith!
Nice return! Greetings❤🎉

That was mental! Ye are toughies!
Oh. Look ..It's the lesser spotted Tom.
Funny enough I stayed in the bothy near Moffat afew weeks ago and their was your name in the book. Made me laugh.
Your a top guy would liked to have bumped into you.
Used to be a little stone sheep shed on top of Cader ?
Lots of love from nepal❤❤tc
Bugger me, what a whinge fest! Who'd have thought the weather would be unpredictable at this time of year?
Some weeks are harder than others, we do try and stay positive in general, but being stuck out in the bad to us this week.
As a Norwegian i must say there's no bad weather, just bad clothes xD
Well I only have one pair of shorts with me, so the clothing was definitely bad 😂
Good C Isobel back
I thought you’d got lost in transit!!
Stay safe and dry.
Omg!!!!! Why not stop for a couple days with that downpour? I would die! I would get pneumonia and die!
can't believe 56k subs .. 😯
Legends. Wet legends 😂
why do you do it?
Your back 😘
Love you guys 💚 Will you start van life again do you think? Or too old for that shit now?
We will actually be releasing a video this weekend, it’s not vanlife but I think we will be back in the van again one day, not sure I’m too keen on another British winter trip though, haha
I await patiently on the next one. Thanks guys 💚
Was that a subliminal message at 13:36 ?
Just bad editing (or was it…)
Nice to see you both back. It definitely is an adventure you’re going to be able to share with your grandchildren 😁👍🏽
Hey Izzy from the future, can I ask a favour? I need the lottery numbers. I'll split it and I won't tell anyone. Cheers! Ssh!
