    This brings back terrible memories of what happened down here. End of August in South Louisiana is dangerously hot and you can’t even imagine the humidity down here. It’s dangerous to be outside for young healthy people even for a short period of time. Imagine the elderly. Sad times, don’t think much has changed.

    19th Years Ago, the biggest storm, came in and destroyed the Gulf Coast

    It's horrible the government took so long to help!

      They could not get to the people easily because everything was flooded all around the city and in the city. There was bacteria in the waters and criminals running around on foot with weapons. It wasn’t easy to get to the people.

    I wish CNN (and others) would progress beyond having the dramatic soap opera type music in the background. it's not necessary and makes a mockery of misery. Disaster porn as news needs to go. These are real people's lives.
