Everyones talking about hailey but i feel absolutely horrible for the son he seemed completely ignored by the mother and he was so absent in the family ... i feel so blessed with the parents i have gotten
Same about the last bit. I'm extremely lucky to have loving parents.
I feel so bad for both josh and Halley
Id rather be ignored then being blamed for every thing my siblings do and anger taken out on me
I still think Hailey has it worse. It’s better to be ignored than have all your mother’s hatred blasted towards you 24/7
I know right the dad should be engaging with his own son more.
The mom acts like she literally hates her daughter hailey. That’s a real problem!
I don't think she is ok.

@@ekenyi The mom IS the problem. But I think she might be in depression, she should get some help!
*Halley says “she’s spitting” 1 million times*
the mom: “idk why ur acting like this” and then proceeds to overload her with chores instead of disciplining her actual misbehaving child
I can kind of sympathize with Halley. My mom would do similar stuff. Not to that extreme, but she'd lump all of my siblings & me together.
Honestly if i was halley i wouldve just packed my stuff and ran, this family is honestly just horrid
American parents☕️
Also via the submission real, the other younger sisters do it to her as well. And as they know she is the scapegoat, they *can* believe they can away with it.
The dad called Supernanny the mother didn’t care
It doesn't surprise me Jo being excellent with children. But it always amazes me how she treats 40-year-old brats. ❤️

When Jo first told mom to talk to Haley about bowling, the mom was like
“It’s you and me going bowling. just you and me.....”

FOR REAL
For anyone wondering, the dad got custody of all the kids in 2014, Halley moved out and barely if ever talks to her mom
Hallelujah 😭
How did you figure this out?

The mother absolutely refused to tell her daughter she loved her…something the daughter was already very aware of. Terrible situation.
Yes I thought so too. Halley seemed to know her mother was failing. Whether from Jo's additional cues to the mother or from the mother's lack of emotion, or from their history together.
Poor Halley gets treated horribly by her mother. She’s a good kid.
Yeah :(
Shes just trying to define herself

Raph.Ex3 dude so tru doh

Absolutely true
Ooo burn. But hey, it’s true 🤷♀️
It is true, I'd say the kids are the least from childish compared to the mom in my *OPINION*
the dad really stuck out to me in this one… he genuinely seems like such an amazing person, he actually took accountability for his actions and almost immediately decided to do better. i love the part at the end where he says he can’t remember when the last time he called his office was, he truly committed himself.
The dad really surprised me when he did the timeout when no one is asking/filming or even the witnesses 😧 He just do it behind everyone’s back because he really loves his kids and wants the best and good discipline for her. He gained my respect as one of the best dads ever and I admire him.
He really IS one of the best Father’s you’ll ever meet.
No one filming?🤔😉
@@onetrickpony2236 I'm pretty sure they meant you actual focus on the dad at that moment, but I get what you mean.
It shouldn’t be “awkward” or weird to hug you kids
When I asked my mother for an hug she told me "Why should I hug you?".
So... yeah it can be very awkward xD
Oblakom I think they meant it shouldn’t be awkward, just because it’s a parent and child relationship. If it is awkward there’s obviously some disconnect or issues there with the parent not being comfortable enough to show their child love in that form.
That’s me but the other way around
Just... ugh. I can’t hug anyone. DISGOSTANG
@@oblakom3132 really? How many kids in your family? I hope you're getting enough attention.

Colonel Sanders how did u know that?

The way the dad was so open to learning this was amazing
I hope Hailey is doing well now. It was so sad watching how her mother treated her. At least dad was trying to correct his mistakes while mom wouldn't even accept them. Most people should not have 6 kids.
And this mother should not even have had one. Poor kids, poor Hailey, poor son
I feel like hailey is the Cinderella of the family and isnt allowed to do anything and super nanny is the fairy god mother, her siblings are the step siblings that the mom adores except for her!
I agree
Samantha Munguia I so agree

Exactly
Samantha Munguia yeah
It's almost like she only likes the kids when they're little and once they get older it's like the novelty wears off.
Rachael Magerl ...? You haven’t even seen their whole life so I don’t know how you could’ve picked that up but.. Okay I guess?
If they do chores, they can’t have fun to do chores. Everyone else do whatever you want.
That's how my mom was. It eventually shifted to her only being interested if there was dependency, no matter how small, on her.
😂😂😂 That soo funny
That’s why she keeps making more 😂😬
I feel so bad for Josh and Halley, they’re good kids.
Hailey if you ever watch your episode I just want you to know that we stan you 100%

that mom was so rude to jo, she was trying to deny everything jo said and it seemed like the mom didn’t even want to help her own children...
Mythical Liv ...so true i agree with you there
She was trying to defend herself as to why Halley should be punished all of the time and then when Jo demonstrated that most of her acting up was due to Alexis behavior, she went and blamed Alexis for not listening
No u
ikkk the fact that she tried to be like 'im done talking about this' when jo tried to mention her relationship with halley is so disrespectful
It's because Jo was destroying this fantasy world the mom was living in. Instead of facing it though she needed something to blame. She was putting all of that blame on her kids, and the wrong ones at that, until Jo showed up and shattered all of that. It feels like the mom gave up after the 2nd child. Like she never wanted the rest, but had them for whatever reason and just gave up on literally everything.
Respect for the Father who never gave up !
Amen to that! 😊
i’m so happy the dad got the custody in 2014 the dad actually was trying

It's because they both just talk in truths. They won't just pussyfoot around the problem, they come in and tell you exactly what's wrong and how to fix it. You either listen to them or you continue on this horrible path, that's all there is to it. We need more people like that in the world.. Don't try to hint at the problem to people or anything.. just flat out tell them what's wrong with them. It's the only way things will actually improve in the world.

I know that's what worries me - as you know our childhood traumas follow us into adulthood
Yes, it stays with us, but it also gives us the opportunity to become the healthiest one in the family. Because, usually it’s the scapegoat who ends up getting the therapy and help. The scapegoat is the one who sees how toxic and crazy the family is, and seeks help.
I hope it has *not* left her with PTSD.
Apparently she left the house the moment she turned 18 and hasn't contacted her mom since. The husband divorced the mom and has full custody of the other kids
The fact that the mum felt that it was awkward to hug and kiss her own DAUGHTER is extremely concerning.

it’s bc jo straight down says everthing bad about them lmao
Because their entitled
0:43 i honestly thought it was the little girl playing that said that though, it looked like she did which was evil asf 😂🤣
It wasn’t her??

I find it so annoying how in the beginning their mom grounded Hailey, when she literally wasn't doing anything. Alexis was the one who was spitting on her. Why wasn't Alexis grounded?
Literally she got grounded bc she was running away from Alexis spitting on her!
@@Rockinashy exactly! She didn't even listen to her side of the story. She just instantly assumed that she was the cause of the problem.
the mum didn't ground alexus coz she couldn't. halley still did chores when told to do so, so the mum probably took it all out on the only kid she felt she could ground or punish :'(
@@Nezumi-- I find that so sad
The scapegoat child.

Lady you would ground your eldest for looking at you the wrong way but get all emotional with your misbehaving 2 year old
Exactly all she does is yell at Hailey but when her 2 year old is disciplined she wants to get emotional and cry cause she spoils her 2 year old smh
@@torianmcneill3794 facts
She can’t even hug her 12 year old daughter but she cried when her 2 year old daughter is misbehaving. This is ridiculous

I feel like mom is depressed and that’s why she’s so abscent
Lindsay Hausmann I was just about to comment the same thing
Deeply. It's not as obvious because she appears to be functioning physically, but emotionally she's dead.
Yes it’s so sad to watch... we don’t know what her upbringing was like ..maybe her mum wasn’t around? Maybe her mum didn’t teach her how to show love ..
I was thinking the same thing. Very sad. She needs to work on herself and figure out how to pull herself out of that. You could tell even in the end when things were better with the family..... She was empty inside. She's definitely depressed.
Lindsay Hausmann she had to much mommy juice
You’d think the mom would stop having kids but according to facebook she had one more kid after this!
Lisa: "our house has major issues."
Me: nah, just one. YOU.
