2023 Fuji Shiba-sakura Festival / Mt. Fuji and Moss Phlox /Japan

The moss phlox is in full bloom at Fuji Motosuko Resort, where the "2023 Fuji Shibazakura Festival" is being held at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
The brilliant hues of red and pink paint a picture of spring at Mt. Fuji.
This festival is held after the cherry blossoms have scattered and right when new green leaves of spring take hold. Each year many TV programs come to capture and show off the dazzling scenery.
