One method to stop the dog biting your hands is the stick your fingers down his throat every time he does. This creates an uncomfortable gag reflex. Its messy with goober over ypur hand but they figure out hands are for licking not biting very quickly. Offering a rawhide to chew also reinforces where to direct the mouth energy.
