As far as Faker’s performance at EWC, he looked his best when he wasn’t playing Corki/Trist. Difference was literally like watching two entirely different ppl play the game
It's crazy how he played better with yasuo in a final when he didn't pick the champ in 2 years than with tristana (who basically spams every time). His corki overall is not bad, before rework he had a really long winstreak and now he just doesn't play very oftern . (but the few times he did he was pretty good)

Pretty sure T1 is experimenting to try to make a few different ban/picks and gamestyles work. There's been too many times in the last few years where the T1 circus comes to a halt in an important final because the opposing team out ban/picks them. hey caedrel i just wanted to say i really like that your style is a little bit calmer now. you still get hype when stuffs going on but you arent constantly yelling or trying to force bits. i greatly enjoy your analysis and feel like its helped me improve at the game by understanding things like positioning and map rotations, so im glad you're emphasizing that a bit more.
With the supporting mid lane strat around 24:00, what if we soon see a meta where ADC sup shifts mid more permanently, we're already halfway there with the adc mid meta. Throw characters that can solo in the bot lane and basically have a second top lane. My gut tells me it's troll, but if teams find a way to make it work I wouldn't be suprised.

The org is milking the players in their year as reining champs, which is something they said themselves in the 20th anniversary documentary, which doesn't leave any room for rest, solo queue, and scrims. I do feel for ZOFGK.

This is a period where teams should try and change their playstyle to fit the new "meta" which is what T1 is doing every split for the past few years This is also why T1 is stuggeling during summer splits because they are trying out new things. TLDR: Summer = Changes = T1 trying new things to get better = Stuggeling early summer cause new meta but good late when good on meta

I feel like the meta really really doesn't suit T1 right now apart from Zeus. Oner usually plays tanks/AD, Faker is a god at mages (Azir, Orianna), Guma usually plays more hypercarry ADs like Varus Jinx and Aphelios and Keria usually plays range supports. Almost none of the T1 members are in their comfort zone at the moment.
I don´t get it, Zeus just could build eclipse instead of opportunity and he would be much stronger in this situation.. he was literally against two sidelaners with tabbies and almost everyone was building a lot of hp. At this point I don't even feel mad about T1 draft, this have happened too many times. T1 coaching is very adamant on what they've practiced on scrims. If scrims had good results, they'll stay on that draft until it'll fail hard after a series like this. It's okay, our boys are burnt out from way too many events from last year until now, they barely get any good breaks. I hope they take a step back, reset their physical and mental form and maintain a strong performance. T1 fighting!

T1 are not SKT T1 anymore, they are T1 Entertainment with too many distractions outside the game, I really believe this is why they are inconsistent. Its quite clear they are not focused on this meta, they are just trying what other people think are meta. But we all know the script, come playoffs time they go into that hyberbolic time chamber so they can peak at the right time. Its like doing you're homework at the last minute and still getting an A. The problem with this is it catches up to you in the end. I would not be surprised if they fail to make Worlds and if that happens I think that would be hugely beneficial to them in the long run as they will have to re-assess the team, no Worlds equals less revenue (more trucks), so they have to change.

I wouldn't even call this low, for example SKT 2019 were 9th place at one point while having players like Khan/Clid/Faker/Teddy/Mata. Then they woke up and went on a 13 game win streak which brought them to no.1 at week 8 but they finished regular season at 4th. In the end they still won LCK Summer Playoffs lol. I am not too worried right now but at the same time not surprised if they do not make worlds (it's an SKT/T1 thing). It's been 3 years straight they qualified worlds, about time they drop the ball for 1 year XD Prime SKT was at worlds finals from 2015-2017, then 2018 they did not even make it so yeah.

So many possible factors: DDoS may still be affecting T1 Fatigue/Faker injury Sandbagging Poor meta for them (AD mid meta sucks, when you can see teams draft all AD and still win you know you have serious balance issues) I just hope the meta changes wildly before Worlds, ideally with a nerf to both ADC items and Lethality items (and an Azir nerf), so we can get the AP Mids back properly. I want to see Syndra, Orianna, Viktor, Malzahar, etc. Oh, and remove K'Sante and rework him into a Jungler.

At this point I don't even feel mad about T1 draft, this have happened too many times. T1 coaching is very adamant on what they've practiced on scrims. If scrims had good results, they'll stay on that draft until it'll fail hard after a series like this. It's okay, our boys are burnt out from way too many events from last year until now, they barely get any good breaks. I hope they take a step back, reset their physical and mental form and maintain a strong performance. T1 fighting!

T1 are not SKT T1 anymore, they are T1 Entertainment with too many distractions outside the game, I really believe this is why they are inconsistent. Its quite clear they are not focused on this meta, they are just trying what other people think are meta. But we all know the script, come playoffs time they go into that hyberbolic time chamber so they can peak at the right time. Its like doing you're homework at the last minute and still getting an A. The problem with this is it catches up to you in the end. I would not be surprised if they fail to make Worlds and if that happens I think that would be hugely beneficial to them in the long run as they will have to re-assess the team, no Worlds equals less revenue (more trucks), so they have to change.

I wouldn't even call this low, for example SKT 2019 were 9th place at one point while having players like Khan/Clid/Faker/Teddy/Mata. Then they woke up and went on a 13 game win streak which brought them to no.1 at week 8 but they finished regular season at 4th. In the end they still won LCK Summer Playoffs lol.
I am not too worried right now but at the same time not surprised if they do not make worlds (it's an SKT/T1 thing). It's been 3 years straight they qualified worlds, about time they drop the ball for 1 year XD Prime SKT was at worlds finals from 2015-2017, then 2018 they did not even make it so yeah.

Fatigue/Faker injury
Sandbagging
Poor meta for them (AD mid meta sucks, when you can see teams draft all AD and still win you know you have serious balance issues)
I just hope the meta changes wildly before Worlds, ideally with a nerf to both ADC items and Lethality items (and an Azir nerf), so we can get the AP Mids back properly. I want to see Syndra, Orianna, Viktor, Malzahar, etc.
