    Like the review/instructions especially the "all singing all dancing and most importantly all cleaning!" made me chuckle. Got this washer being delivered in a couple of days. Feel happy that I'll know how to use it as soon as it's delivered now, which is unlike me, I never read instructions!!!

      Cat Power Ditto which is why I like simple and reliable. The fewer moving parts the more reliable I have found. I know friends who have gone through 3 or 4 washer dryers to my one washing machine.

  • @mach3reached

    How does it behave, when the washing fluid tank is empty and you want to use "manual" powder for some time? Does it bother you with some warning that "fluid is empy" and you have to deselect i-dos every time you want to use it or something like that?

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  5 років тому +2

      The i-Dos indicator will flash to say it needs filling but as the water flushes through the section where you 'manually' put the washing powder it makes no difference if you deselect it or not. One point to note is that when you power on the machine it remembers the settings from the previous time you used the program, eg; if you'd deselected i-Dos on the 'Cottons' program then it will remain deselected the next time you turn it on.

    Hello. If you still own this washing machine. Do you perhaps know how to enter a diagnostic menu?
    My softener i-Dos stopped working and I would like to run a diagnostics program that can probably be found in a diagnostics menu.
    Thank you.

    Hello,
    Can you tell me if 8 kg is only for "Cotton" program? The program I'm going to use more offen is the "mixed load", but I'm afraid the load capacity is less than 8 kg for it.
    Thanks

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  6 років тому +1

      The Mixed Load shows as a capacity of 4Kg but it is a shorter wash cycle of approx 1 hour.

    Can you use pods in the drum.

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  7 років тому

      I've never tried the pods as the USP is the intelligent dosing of the w/machine but I'd imagine you could. I'd imagine it should work in the same way as if you wanted to use powder - you'd turn off the i-dos for the washing liquid and pop the pod in the drum. As I said I've never tried it though.

    Hello , how to choose spin only in this washing machine

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  4 роки тому +1

      1) Select the RINSE (Spin/Drain) program which is the lbottom left on the dial
      2) You should see the Spin Speed lit up - also (importantly) is rhe rinse icon (water in a bowl with an arrow pointing up) - this will have +1 illuminated basically keep pressing this icon (-2, +3 then once more) until it is no longer highlighted.
      You now have SPIN-Only selected.

    What is the quickest time I can wash cottons on?

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  7 років тому +2

      On the 'Cottons' program you can select 'Speed' and it will reduce it to 1hr 6mins but there's nothing stopping you use the 'SuperQuick' program and wash it the load in either 15 or 30 minutes.

      Just worked it out - Select Rinse/Spin on the Dial and you'll see a Basket with +1, +2, +3 next to it (that's the amount of times it rinses) - just press this until the basket goes away, eg; one more press after +3 & it will go blank, - at that point it will just be a spin cycle. HTH

    I want to buy the 9 kg 1400spiin same to this.... i want more information.... the i dos system work well? How you set it? In the manual i readed that you have to use the basic ml on the label of the detergent, but the all detergent laber are for 4-5 kg the machine is 9 how in goin to set it? More confusing and is made for make it easy dosing😅🙈

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  4 роки тому

      I've not had any problems. You simply fill up the detergent reservoir with your washing liquid. It holds quite a lot so good for 20+ washes.
      Based upon the level of washing liquid you request (Lelvel 1, 2 or 3 - depending on size of load / how dirty) the system takes what it needs. If you need a more technical explanation you're probably better off talking with Bosch.

    • @cal87249
      @cal87249 4 роки тому

      @@GuyNash you have to set the system youndid it right? Setting the ml of detergent in accord with your detergent label... you will find the explanation here on fb just look for "bosch setting idos" basically you have to keep pushed the i dos botton after tre second appear the ml of detergent that is setted on... same for the softner...

    Not sure If you still active with your channel but wanted to ask you if you still have the same washing machine and if so how is it so far ?
    Another question once you load the liquid detergent is there any notification you are running low and have to fill it again?

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  5 років тому +1

      Yes I still have the same washing machine and it's still working well. Bosch are one of those makes that are built to last (imho).
      To answer the other question - yes in both the detergent and softener when it is running low the relevant icon flashes on the display.

    Dear Guy, one question which I could not find anywhere the answer for....I am using washing liquid different for whites, blacks and colours....so assume I can only fill up the tank with 1 type, let`s say for white cloths....now I am putting in the black clothes, can I use washing liquid into the 3rd tank which is for the powder? 2nd question - does this machine has a pre-wash function as well? Thank you

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  4 роки тому

      Yes there is a Pre-Wash setting. It's activated by pressing an icon on the display screen. For different types of detergent in theory yes you could use the 3rd drawer and deselecting the Intelligent Dosing (which would stop it drawing from the detergent draw). It may be easier to just put the different detergent into the drum via one of those balls and again deselecting the iDos mechanism. HTH.

    if you use manual mode = powder, can you still use softener in the I-DOS tank? or you cannot use softener if you want to use powder (=manual mode) ? Many thanks for your advice

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  2 роки тому

      Yes. So you turn off the i-Dos for the Washing Liquid (and you can add powder to the drawer) and still keep the softener (IDos) selected as before (eg: 1, 2, or 3 level)

    How does the i-Dos work, when washing delecates like wool or silk, where you need special detergent? Do you just put it in the "manual detergent" drawer?

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  5 років тому +1

      Yes if you (de)select the Dosing for detergent, eg; keep pressing the icon until goes blank (after +3) - the default will be used and you can either use powder/special detergent in the manual detergent drawer of even a dosing-ball into the drum with the clothes. Hope that makes sense.

      Yep had one for over 2 years now. No complaints at all, had a Miele before this which lasted 15 years. Personally I'd always spend a little extra for the reliability that makes like Bosch and Miele offer.

    Looks a bit complicated for me. Also I do not see a spin cycle

    • @GuyNash
      @GuyNash  6 років тому

      To be honest it's very easy to use - the programs dial is easy to follow and touch-screen very easy to use. To answer your question - there is a separate Spin Cycle (bottom left of dial) if you wanted to choose that and in fact any program you select you can change the Spin Speed from, the default for that program, to anything you want 800-1400 by simply pressing the touch-screen.

      Guy Nash Maybe I was too hasty but often see all these lights and think no. My last g/f's car was like a cockpit and had to drive it a few times and hated it as mine is CD in, yes it still takes a CD, into first and away. The only dials I have are rpm and speed so could not be simpler just like my current washing machine 30,40,60, 90 dial and start. I saw all those many programmes and thought what the ..... Think about idiots who are used to 2 only buttons. It is still on my replacement list. That is good as I have needed separate spin a few times with this old thing but noticed some are being melded together with rinse. I tend to keep appliances to breaking point. I am definitely not of the its a few years old time for a replacement. If it can limp into next year it will be 15 years old, same as my Bosch fridge freezer. I have a better reason for not replacing that one as the new Bosch are all too damn tall. Thank you for your reply

      If you're still having the problem if all else fails there's an emergency door release. On the bottom right of the front of the machine there is a round flap which can be opened. The emergency door release can be pulled down. Shoud be mentioned in the manual
