Not only could God have cause them to get pregnant a year after the promise, but He could have told them that it wouldn’t happen for another 25 years. I guess He wanted to build their faith as they waited on His perfect timing.

Hi Mrs.Kim, I love your channel! As of right now, I’m struggling with habitual sin and I don’t want to sacrifice this to God. I’ve found comfort in gluttony since I was a child and I’m 18 now. I know to repent and I know the COSTS of me not repenting yet I don’t care. It’s extremely wrong for me to continue in this but it’s all I think about. If anyone is willing to share their testimony to me about this sin or any sin which they also did not want to give up to God, PLEASE do!
So. Increasing my water intake (by a lot) and cutting out junk food and excess sugar has been helping me. It's a snare...fight for the life Christ died to give you. Seriously. Fight!

My prayers for you. I hear in your text that you are almost ready to turn from your habitual sin. What I did is gradually reduce the frequency of my gluttony and I remembered that God says my body is a temple. Perhaps you have something you take great care of. Think of that when you start to fail. You will overcome! Praise yourself each time you resist stumbling. You can do it and love yourself! 💜

Dear sister, thank you for sharing this, and I'm so thankful for the encouragement you've already received. I hear you saying you're aware of the struggle but don't want to turn from this sin. My encouragement is to CLING. Ask the Lord to change your desires, to give you a desire to obey in this area. We need grace just to WANT to obey. Ask Him to change your eating desires, and to give you grace and strength to cling to Him in this. We can't obey God in our own strength, and you're highlighting the fact that even the "want to" comes from Him. Apart from Him, we can do NOTHING (John 15:5). Praying for you right now.
