Thanks for the heads up about the Uni! I too work on a laptop at home/office, but prefer to travel with my iPad & Magic Keyboard. Everything is in/on one cloud service or another, so it just makes things easier. The Uni will come in clutch on those times I have to connect to a monitor or storage drive. 👍

After carrying all of that, you might as well just carry the MacBook. The portable charger looks heavy. I mean your carrying a portable charger, a keyboard, a mouse and a stand, that’s everything the laptop has, why not just carry the laptop, and the m series gives you enough all day battery
You have a good point. I much prefer my MacBook for heavy editing but carrying that power bank eliminates any other charger I carry while powering every other device I have with me. It’s a good trade off but it depends on the occasion. Use what works best for you 🙌🏻
I also like to work on the iPad on the go, but…… honestly, as soon as you start to carry around that huge power bank etc., the weight is no more better than a 14“ MacBook Pro and the later lasts easily the whole workday with the internal battery (I feel the iPad is maybe around 50-60% compared to the MBP in real world for me).
I get your point and I agree but when traveling, nothing beats the compact factor of the iPad. As for the Power Bank, I agree as well with you but is very nice to not worry about where you go because you have enough to power your iPad, phone and headphones for multiple days. What I meant is that is easier to take around due to the convenience of having something so compact. Much rather edit in my MacBook. ✌🏻
