sometimes when his jungler is losing in the jg, he purposefully takes LOSING trades so the enemy cannot roam. I have so much respect for this man

Another couple of important points:
- He usually doesn't move from his lane and prios farm HARD because if u are on good econ on Vlad u WILL stomp the game later. In korea he gives more prio to fights in river because in kr people might afk rq if he doesnt move, but in other regions he ignores teammates and prios lane and farm. At 3 items+ Vladimir will win all teamfights on his own
- IF it means to get a good recalll timer for himself, after pushing the enemy out of lane, he ULTS THE WAVE to kill it asap, crash it under tower and make enemy miss all the cs, he then recalls and goes back to lane.

a thing to also note, he only rotates if his wave is in a good position
well noted, he also immediately turns back to his farm when skirmishes ends, not over chasing, it may seem a selfish play but when you are on vlad that can carry a late game this decision has to be made perfectly.

The most insane thing is how often he wins hard or impossible matchups, he just makes it look so easy but when you try the same champions dumpster you.

@@demons785 Orianna, Azir, Anivia, these three are probably the hardest matchups, Malzahar is excruciating IF the enemy malz is good, Zed is decently hard before you get boots then its skill expressive but favouring vlad, Fizz is hard if you DONT have summoner aery, viktor is annoying, syndra can be cancer if you arent spacing, ekko/sylas/yone/yas can be hard if you die early on with bad timing, but yeah mainly anything that pokes you hard or tries to damage you early from a distance can make it hard for vlad to gain his footing in laning phase.

You missed to point out that often when he dives he doesn't use w until the last second he needs to in order to amplyfies his R proc damage with last stand, thats why you can see him not using w right at the start for example: 8:30. If he were to w at the start he would not have enough damage to kill

@@vidaulashe's really not because he isn't very strong early and many champs will dumpster him if not played properly. This guy has just mastered the champ and understands he needs to play to Vlads strength through sustain early.
@@likenoother6561he also relies heavily on summs or items for mobility and overhaul usefullness, if you do not know How to farm or skirmirsh you are going to drop behind really fast.

My personal counter to Vlad is Fiddle Mid
Whenever he tries to trade you just succ the wave and him. Fiddle W goes through his pool and W outheals Vlad dmg so as a champion with no cc there is nothing he can do about it.
You use this lane prio to roam around the map and once you are 6 the game category for the enemy team changes to "survival horror"
During Mid and Late game Vlad loves to ghost around your own team during teamfights with a nice engage to deal dmg but Fiddle ult is a big counter engage threat.
Fiddle also provides the juicy cc against Vlad with Q + E combo
as OTP vladimir i hate having a fiddle in enemy team
I learned the hard way that fiddle W hits me in my pool haha
fiddle mid is prolly the easier ones for me as a vlad otp esp when you just go conq you can get free stacks and all in them asap

He used to go full scaling build with all scaling runes like gathering storm, ability haste at levels, magical boots and etc. Also sorc boots for penetration. I wonder what changed.
in Korea tempo matters more, and there is significantly more focus on early skirmishes. he wants to hit a decent power level asap instead of scaling to oblivion. He did that during his last KR trip also, where he ditched his rocketbelt build and started rushing spellbinder (rip)
At 37+ CDR Vlad can E+W+E+E WHEN E IS MAXED, basically hit the first E than cast W+E during W to cast another E, it will release before the W ends, its the most hard mechanic to put but is game changing, since Vlad can't cast spells on W, but with this setup he can do it, everyone believes its an unentional bug or exploit

You should use E1 and E2 to make it more understandable (E1 = first time you press E, E2 = release of the E).

the bugfix they did means that as long as it casts it will go through. zhonyas or any kind of invuln

for vlads the method to beat malz is to pay attention to malz mana as if it is under 100 at any time that is the perfect time to solo q malz, however, i find it useful to just hard shove malz level one as that is prolly what counters him the best

Why auto q? Why not q then auto? I see a lot of times he doesn't fully charge e or just releases it immediately. When is a good time to not fully charge e, as I tend to pretty much always fully charge it.

A fact this video didn't talk about is that Elite literally changes his runes/build matchup after matchup. He doesn't always go Aery/PhaseRush/Elec/Conq he keeps switching it up.

I just love it how even on challanger people just hate buying anti heal vs such champions. Like really going 25 damage 10 cdr on trist before goin 800 gold 20 damage effectively deal ~1000 damage to vlad.
Because anti heal sucks vs vlad. He heals through sustain not drain tanking.
@@filo11111 Got no idea what you are talking about, what I see is he heals 2k+ hp total in tristana clips while she is attacking him which could be reduced to 1k.
@@transcent7 You will get hit by all his healing bursts before you can stack grevious wounds. If vlad sees you rush antiheal he will just take short trades instead of all inning you.
Also, anti heal does nothing vs late game vlad because at this point he just vaporizes you before he even comes out of pool.
And I forgot to mention, exe only rush is useless nowdays.

there is a bug where ult does not apply damage buff to E. you can try it. E damage is the same no matter ult is on target or not

Yeah Elite is not the kind of guy whose play you can "unlock the secret to" by merely changing a rune setup or using ghost level 1, etc. He is a good player overall with a strong determination to improve and a lot of experience with the champion and the game. You cannot really bottle that and sell it.
