    I just got the crown tail light installed last nite. Thanks again for the video. My gray 21 RG had the same red locktite overuse on the left side bullet nut. My paws got skinned up but I survived. Awesome videos. Keep up the great informative videos!

    I enjoy your videos and like I have told you before I usually don't work on HD's except on my nieces 2011 CVO but work whole bunch on a 97 Yamaha Royal Star and a 2016 BMW R1200GS adventure. I purchased a set of thread chasers because the previous owner of my BMW used red locktite when not needed. The thread chasers work well and I am very attentive to what I should use on a fastener before finishing what I am doing to the bike. You are one of the better you tubers who show you how to install accessories or upgrades.

    THANK YOU!!!! I was looking for something that flashes to bring attention to me stopping. Wished these had some sort of actual mounting points besides 3M tape; live in Hawaii and the roads as well as salt air throughout the year does not bode well with tape mounts. Was looking for something where I don't have to get rid of the existing turn signals as I bought the Ciro super bright LED turn lights. Very informative sir, thanks again....

      You're most welcome! I'm glad I could assist you in your search for attention-grabbing signaling options. I understand your concern about the 3M tape mounts, especially considering the challenging road conditions and salt air in Hawaii. It's always beneficial to have more secure mounting points. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of anything would secure this particular light better than the tape provided. I would just keep an eye on it. I'm grateful that you found the video informative, and I appreciate your kind words. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. Good luck with your search, and I hope you find the perfect solution for your needs!

      Hey man..thanks for checking it out anyway..much appreciated. I hope they start making more parts for the 13 and older bikes too...I think it has a lot to do with the bikes needing load resistors to use LED stuff and the 14 ups dont...Im not sure..just a guess but I wish they had more stuff for the older models. And yeah...screw red loktite man lol this one got the better of me for sure! haha

      @@sikbaggers Couple quick questions on that subject if you don’t mind.
      1. Do I need to remove the ignition if so why?
      2. Do I need to roll the inner faring forward to access the hole in the handle bar?
      Thanks in advance.

      @@jamespeppard9162 if its on a 2014 and newer you don't need to remove the ignition, you can roll the fairing forward to access the 2 clamps that hold your bars on just by removing the ignition panel, 2 screws, one on each side. There are tabs at the top so pull down and at an angle to come from under the ignition and yes you will need o get to the hole under your bars to access the wires.

    How well does this work with the custom dynamics flash module?

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers 3 роки тому +2

      Great question Darrell...The magic box from CD works by sending burst signals to the lights..so basically on/off very fast. So lights like these or any sequential turn signal will not work with the brake box. So you will need to daisy chain these in before the brake box. If you plug this in after the brake box it will send the on/off signals to the light and it would just repeat the first milisecond of its flash pattern until the box stopped sending the signal and just stays on. Same with sequential turn signals. So to avoid this and have the best of both worlds just simply plug this in before the brake box right at the start of your daisy chain. This way the brake box send its signals to all of your lights in the rear except this so they can all flash and this one has a signal without the brake box and it does its own thing and glashes whatever pattern you choose. I hope this helps...any questions please let me know.

    I like you, but I don't like CIRO. I watched MotoBlonde install black caps on the aluminum fasteners on her engine, and then I saw there were two kits for my 16 PSBOCVO, so I asked them what does the 1st kit cover, and the reply i got was to hit the "instructions" button and when I did, the instructions say "not all locations illustrated" so I got bent out of shape real quick and chewed that poor lady out for pushing a product that can't and won't give me a straight answer, and then they say they have been trying to email me- who tries to Email? You either do it or you don't, so obviously someone there thinks it's real funny to be sarcastic with the public who does not know what to buy and can't get an answer and the company does not care to answer, because it's making enough money, it does not need customer satisfaction. Again, I think your presentations are better than other tubers who think they are actors, sometimes you like to feel like you're in the garage talking shop with an expert, and not sitting down for a show. You know? Thanks, but I will never be using any CIRO product, ever.

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers 3 роки тому +1

      Hey Mark sorry you had that experience with ciro support man..I really dig the products they have and have haven't had any issues I guess with anything...I did look over what you were talking about as the instructions for the twin cam do state that not all locations are pictured. I used those caps on my Road glide build...I shot a video last year on those and if I remember correctly I had enough to cover all the locations that were pictured and had a few left over of each size. I do know this though...I did a cheapo cap set from amazon on the SG build and I needed to order 2 sets to cover everything I wanted to cover and had a lot of crap left over that wouldn't fit anything at all. Now they weren't nearly as thick or nice as the ciro ones I used on the RG...but I ended up getting a black set of cheapos to fill in all the extra stuff I wanted covered on the bike..not just around the engine but front fork legs, brake calipers etc and then I had a bunch left over...which is nice because a lot of them needed siliconed on so they would stay put...They come off easily enough if I have to do work on the bike but the pliers chew up the chrome so having extras is always nice. I guess what I wanted to say was buy 2 kits no matter where you get them from lol...youll have enough and extras which you will probably end up needing at some point down the road. I hope that helps buddy...be safe

    • @markjaycox8811
      @markjaycox8811 3 роки тому

      @@sikbaggers It doesn't help me at all, and you are not responsible, so there is nothing you can do, but thanks for replying and providing your info, but buying extra and having extra stuff laying around is not what Im after. If CIRO cannot answer a simple question then they simply ain't gettin my business. I have a lot of trouble on UA-cam asking questions, because it seems no one alive knows how to answer a question.
