The Game Development Math You Didn’t Know You Need

Have you ever thought about the math behind your favorite game? My favorite game is Assassin's Creed 2 and they actually use a lot of math for all sorts of things. Starting from the simple things like the health system to some more complex and interesting systems like the NPC's pathfinding system and the crowd behaviour which is pretty interesting. I was actually studying this system for a project that I had a few years ago and it's pretty interesting.
