- Could this midnight convoy be transporting Alexei Navalny’s body?
An independent Russian news outlet obtained footage of this convoy leaving Navalny’s prison hours after his death.
Navalny’s wife Yulia Navalnaya believes Russian authorities are keeping family away from his body to conceal evidence of poisoning. Navalny was poisoned with the deadly ‘Novichok’ nerve agent in 2020, in a suspected attack by the Russian state. Yulia Navalnaya says she will reveal the identities of her husband’s killers.
Since Navalny’s death his family, including his mother Lyudmila Navalnaya have been refused access to his body.
One of Russia’s most prominent opposition politicians, Navalny has been in detention since he was arrested in 2021. He was being held at the the ‘IK-6’ facility in Russia’s far north, beyond the Arctic Circle, infamous for the alleged abuse of inmates.
Navalny’s death has sparked protests and memorials across the world. In Russia, people continue to lay flowers in cities across the country in Navalny’s memory. But Russian authorities were seen destroying the memorials overnight and have continued to arrest protesters. It’s thought around 300 protesters are now in detention across the country.
It has now been reported that a senior prison official accused of torturing Navalny was promoted on Monday. Valery Boyarinev was apparently promoted to the rank of Colonel General by Vladimir Putin just three days after Navalny’s death.

Why? Like reasonably why should he go free? He knowingly recieved files he wasnt allowed to have, and then knowingly leaked them on his website for clicks. The media's portrayal of navalny as a Muhatma Ghandi/ Nelson Mandela like character is also pretty laughable. Navalny was a neo nasty who called immigrant cockroaches and flies in a video he himself made calling for them to be swatted.
Whilst the US govt left russia in ruins in the 1990s, looting the country for oil and plunging the masses into abject poverty and have made no secret of their intent to destroy russia since, Navalny's DA party chief of staff was caught on video negotiating fees in the millions with M-Eye 6 for colour revolution and the main sponsor of the Party was the See Eye Ayy's regime change NGO - the National Endowment for Democracy (as exposed by wikileaks), and Navalny himself before re entering Russia recorded a video in the black forest with the See Eye Ayy funded Bellingcat.
Navalny was the definition of a traitor to his people and his country and would have been imprisoned in any country for doing what he did.
As much as the media now wish to build his wife up as some sort of heroic true leader in exile, they are both no loss to Russia.
