Haki is such a good system. Why does it feel wasted here?
Haki is a resource (meter like) but it cannot be charged up. It can be used to attack, defend, and break opponents.
Zoro should have 100 meter which recharges slowly at first and ramps up (like a population growth curve)
Engaging observation costs ~10mp (meter points) and drains 2mp/s until dis-engaged
effects: slow down game movement by 5/10 percent, increases sidestep distance/precision.
Engaging armamant costs ~5mp drains 1mp/2 sec or 5mp/attack landed. 3mp/block
effects: damage buff ~10%, build up stagger (break mechanic) on devil fruit users more easily Resist damage on block
Engaging conquerers haki costs ~40mp/use
effects inflicts a large portion of stagger to enemies targeted, if the plaer is hit by Conquers' Haki, they have to mini-game out of it to gain their wits back.
If all characters play by these rules, it'd be a better game period. We'd get to play using the haki system and enjoy the quirks of the characters.

Bro there is so many things this game missed out on. Luffy using Gear 4 could drain meter points completely, Gear 2nd could be a meter too and you could use it in conjunction with Haki to boost dmg. Maybe that also lowers stamina.
And since this game doesn't give any attack animation strings for enemys maybe actually add some and give the player parry and or block mechanics. This game could have easily been a masterpiece. I would love a Breath of the Wild type One Piece Game with all the Straw Hats.
@@nateislate5551 the player does have a parry and a block ability, and luffy's gear 4 does drain all of his meter. I do think that gear second would be pretty cool though

3:34 correct me I'm wrong but never seen Zoro do a gatlin sword attack but I'm not trying to hate much because I love one piece but as a fan I know it well, why does it look like it's a reskin of luffy's gum gum gatlin and do there running animations look so similar the way Zoro is running is kinda funny😅 but I really do wish that this game was good in the end because the only anime series that get good games to be honest is Dragon ball Z and Naruto

BEBENJI Freyburger probably you didn’t had your eyes opened during the episodes. Differently from sanji who gotten beaten up. Fujitora intervened between them. On the last event of things zoro had to stay so he could stop Pics while luffy went on ahead to deal with the main villain.
