- Welcome back to another episode of my Travlog Series.
We did a short trip to Shirdi and Nashik just before the 2nd lockdown in Maharashtra happened.
The trip was of merely 2 days. On the 1st day we went to Shirdi Temple, Shani Shingna and explored nearby places in Shirdi. Shirdi is a town in the state of Maharashtra, in western India. It's known as the former home of revered spiritual leader Sai Baba, and as a major pilgrimage site. Devotees gather daily at the Sai Baba Temple complex to honor his legacy.
On 2nd day we visited Sula Vineyards located in Nashik. Sula Vineyards is a leading winery in India founded by Rajeev Samant in 1999. Sula has grown to be India’s largest and most awarded wine brand. Sula introduced grape varietals such as Chenin blanc, Sauvignon blanc, Riesling and Zinfandel in India and is the leading player in the Indian wine industry.
