No intro, no yapping, just concise strategy and encouragement. Also a rare video less than 20 minutes long, haha. I love this style of content Iyouxin, keep it up.
Finally someone gave useful tips on how to play the MAPS and not the tanks. Dont get me wrong, I do appreciate when someone takes the time to compare and test tanks, but in the end, that’s only 50% of the game. The other half is knowing the maps, knowing how to use your tank proficiently in that map and these tips are perfect for that. I am a team player and like to play the light tanks as vision for my team is key, so these hints and tips are perfect. I am grateful and you have earned yourself another subscriber. Please keep making these tips videos for other tanks, maps etc.
Ofc course! more to come, did you happen to watch high level commentary with Manticore? There's more maps covered and I explain how to shoot unspotted. I would like to hear your opnion on that
Wonderful man, thank you for the detailed explanations. With you, this game is much more reasonable to me, I have been playing it for ten years, you have shown me a new dimension of the game. Thank you once again.
You're a gift to the wot community. You help so many of us become better players. I started playing wot many years ago and then stopped. Left my account sitting at around 500-600 WN8 and 42%wr. Picked up the game again as one of my primary games in January/February this year and was able to maintain a WN8 of 1000-1400. Watching your streams and videos and playing with some friends have helped me sit comfortably around 2500-2700WN8 30d and I feel like 3k avg dmg consistently is right around the corner. Keep up the great work mate, you're great at what you're doing ♥️♥️♥️
I feel he's the only guy on the internet in this game that you can actually improve your game play from him, Like I watched Daki, Skill and QB, but when I started watching iyouxin my game play actually improved remembering what he said during the battle.
7:02 note, if you have cvs it also decamuflages moving tank, even light tank. So if lt has 50 camo but is moving in bush against cvs, you will spot him in range like 80-100 meters
On Cliff, you can use the same spot from the other side of the map in the exact same way, except in this case the bushes extend further from the rocks, meaning you stay far enough away from the rocks to avoid blind fires while still spotting from concealment. Just be careful if artillery is trying to hit heavy tanks beside you, you'll probably take splash damage. I learned this from @chems.
Dear iyouxin, i usually never comment under a video but now i have to, im just a normal hungarian guy who really likes watching your videos. I was a 12 years old tomato player but now several years later im a green-light blue player because of you. I dont play wot right now as my computer is not the best. Your videos mean a lot to me, and you teach me a lot in my fav video game, I just want to say to keep it up and all my recpect for you. Great job, kisses
This is one of the best WoT videos ever! Useful game information that can be put into action immediately. You get a quadruple thumbs up iyouxin twitch! The last thing I need on YT is another tank review video.
Very good content. I like the format explaining how to do things vs. "look at how good I am" that is common on other channels. And no drama is much appreciated. +1 sub.
Thanks iyouxin. I think the best way is if you made a document (excel for ample) with minimap position and screenshots, and organize the document around different maps and spawn points. That way we can quickly refer in game. I’d personally pay for something like that lol
The camping 140 on Westfield pinging the map constantly is the typical Wot 40-45%er! camping right next to a grille 15 and throwing a fit because the lite isn't personally spotting for him! I always find it fun after the game to point out just how bad they are! 99% of the time people that do that are #13-15 for experience highlighting they played their chosen tank like crap!
First game: much better position is at H5, you can still spot the base and the middle rock and you don't get spotted if you shoot if there is no spotter of enemy team in the middle, while if you stand where you suggested you won't be able to shoot without getting spotted by their spotter or the tds in base.
Great video, Would love to see how exactly a light tank works with camo, use of bushes, and all tips, I play lights 80% of the time, LOVE THEM !! Thanks for the time of a solid video !!!
On Studzianki I like to take the bushes between TD ridge and the factory. It lets you somehat safely spot the enemy lights rushing to the middle ditch (and some heavies crossing the factory sometimes.) But it's not super reliable. It requires your TD's to be ready.
Nice, but I do disagree with two. On Ensk, playing 6 line can be useful, but if you're good at using terrain I find the small dip in C0 more effective. Everybody tries to use the building or bush in D0, but just using the cover provided by the dip behind the building is much more powerful and you can frequently spot enemies in the field and pushing F8 and frequently get shots on both positions also. Also on Cliff, the lighthouse position is extremely strong for lights, but it's situational. You have to use the slope of the path to make the climb safer, and you have to be willing to abandon the climb if it's too risky, don't ever commit and blindly push for it. Starting on the cliff gets you a lot of spotting and vision across the 8 line and 3 line, covering both flanks and providing cover to take free shots too. But the strongest way to make the lighthouse useful is to know when to leave it. From this position you can help your team win either 8 line or 3 line, and as soon as you see one of those flanks open up you relocate there and help your team clear the center. Of course, going 2/3 line is also excellent on Cliff and going here, or starting by pushing mid and crossing from the center to E3 is also valid. One extra advantage of going lighthouse first is that you get knowledge of whether E3 is clear of enemy mediums or not, and can choose to relocate there if it looks like a stronger position.
Great video. I think a great addition would be some reference to videos of yours where you play these positions. Often I want to see what kind of transitions are needed from any given position.
Great video! I didn't watch 2hrs long video, but i love this format! 😅 It will be great to do same guides for heavy for difficult maps with many positions like ensk, erlenberg, Siegfried line. Especially Siegfried line) Great work anyway, hope you're channel will grow!
Thank you for putting this together, Iyouxin. Just a tip, flashing a giant minimap in the middle of the screen as you're driving to the recommended spot, is a bit counterproductive. It'd be better if you actually show us how you get there first and then bring up the map. 👊
@@schokobrotistgut4757 In Aslain's it's a bit further down than half in the list of mods, in between "Hitlogs (Non-XVM)" and "Sixth Sense (Non XVM)", labelled "Distance Marker"
Great video! Nice, there were some that i didnt use yet... or any more. The 10th position was too stationary to me, i used it before, but no more, becausr the other flank seems to be more important.
hi mate, thx for videos, I fall in love in lights, your AMX vid changed my style, I have been hardly able to make 1 mark, after couple weeks I have been able to make 2 marks and now finaly my 1st 3rd mark on AMD 178B. have fun
that spot in tundra is easily a mouse trap if the crossing tanks is smart, they'll blind shot u to garage Westfield, depends on whether someone is combing that position or not if yes, east wing is safer (though more competitive) erlen2 only worked in a low slung LT, if using bigger LT, use the bush formation beside the windmill Lakeville same reason as Westfield in cliff, u can use the bushes right beside the one he use, as it's not a common spot for lt there though in exchange it's harder to spot D1
I see more and more people using that G4 position in Steppes so if I'm playing light I start my round by countering people going into that position by driving to D-E 3 on top of the ridge
You are amazing thank you. I think the same way as you do that common bushes can be very risky finding new safer ways is always good and than you have to play by situation. I am not a good player but i try to improve with your help and now i fell more confident in general playing the game try learn from mistakes watch minimap try to look around in a while and always think where i could get back if situation goes bad. Is it true that in studzianki you have to avoid these bushes which start higher not exactly from the ground but little bit higher and you can get spotted ?
Great content! Btw, I have a question. At 0:33 I can see that you use a mod or something that it displays how far an enemy tank is. What mod is this? I like it! Thanks!
I would like to know some of your positions for when playing medium tanks and doing damage at the crossings of enemies. This single aspect of the game has improved my win rate and score dramatically. It is one of the single best strategies to boost both. But i'm not familiar with places to do damage on the enemies crossing from all maps. if you can recommend good positions and maybe some uncommon but effective ones too that would be amazing! Love you're work! thanks and Cheers M8 o7
On the NA server C3 would be occupied by heavies or hull down TD's on both sides. Maybe its just a coincidence but seems like EU players just don't play the same.
No intro, no yapping, just concise strategy and encouragement. Also a rare video less than 20 minutes long, haha. I love this style of content Iyouxin, keep it up.
A simple thank you you would have been enough, he already knows what he is doing right 🤣
oh honey, he is past that! he grew up on this game. i remember when he was 10 month old streaming
I love how its well explained and theres no pointless yapping included. Would love to see part 2!
yapping is for live streams
Video starts and no time is wasted with an intro or a lot of talking or whatever. Straight to the point. I love it!

I agree, everyone and their mother do tank reviews and show.off gameplay, but actual map tactics, positions and lanes is what most of us need.
Wonderful man, thank you for the detailed explanations. With you, this game is much more reasonable to me, I have been playing it for ten years, you have shown me a new dimension of the game. Thank you once again.

You cant learn from Mailand or Daki, but you learn tons from iyouxin
This is really good and there is not enough of this type of video.
Pls do more Iyouxin ! Really useful.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!! I've been struggling in my lights lately, this will help me a lot! 👍👍👍
I like how you got straght into it.. didnt talk shit at the start like so many others
Nice video bud as always thank you .. very informative and useful! I’ll try em . I’m not much of a light tank guy 😛
Well explained, thank you for giving us this knowledge

The jokes we watch your channel for :)))

All good positions. I hate 1-2 line on Cliff though, I always feel useless if I’m over there.
I love it! I'm always looking for sniper positions for mediums and good defensive positions for heavies
I love these positioning videos! They are a great help for a fairly new player.
Best high level commentary on UA-cam. Love to watch your videos.
Waiting for part two
the editing doesnt go unnoticed ;) , nice man
Gonna try some of these in my T21

lol, yeah. He was positioned in an awful location for a 140, and busy complaining at the light who was dominating the center of the map. :-)
Very much appreciated! The Ensk position just gave me my first MoE on ELC Even!
Your videos are both professional, and helpful at this point. Well done to you for the progress you have made.
Crazyyyy, as a beginner it is really informative to know where to go. I would love to see whole playlist of every map with light tank positions 😄
This is one of the most useful videos for light tanks ive ever seen
Amazing idea for the video, specially for new players! Love it!
THE GOAT
Love it! Some time ago i used your position on fisherman’s bay, worked like a charm!

Now we all know which other bushes to blind-fire at - lol :P

Short and clean information. Love it. More of them please

There's reference to high level commentary. At the end of the video
Oh this is a great vid. Thanks man!
I suck at playing LTs. Thanks for the tips! I'll try these positions
Awesome video. Can you please do a similar one for nice TD positions and maybe useful places for heavies to take fast? Keep up the good work!
Great video!
I didn't watch 2hrs long video, but i love this format! 😅
It will be great to do same guides for heavy for difficult maps with many positions like ensk, erlenberg, Siegfried line. Especially Siegfried line)

I watched this video twice. Great content. Thanks
I want more scout tips videos, nice vid!
We need more of this positions man!! Great video
The video I've been waiting for years. Maybe do a series? Thank you!

💡 understood
In Studzianki i would prefer Position D5/E5 the bushes near the factory as first move
There's a Mod in Aslain's modpack that permanently shows you the exact distance to an enemy tank above the tank, under the tank's info.
its available as standalone mod too - distance marker
I was going to ask the name of it. Thx!
@@schokobrotistgut4757 In Aslain's it's a bit further down than half in the list of mods, in between "Hitlogs (Non-XVM)" and "Sixth Sense (Non XVM)", labelled "Distance Marker"
in which category is it?
Nice video! Can you make a same video for heavies and mediums?Man,I enjoy you
I love watching LT gameplay although my play style is fighting at long or short distance. I'm not patient enough just to stay still and no shooting
There is only one issue with this, and that is that ur team has to freaking shoot what u spot
Great movie! Very nice positions, can't wait for more!
awesome
Great timing for new video because wot eu servers are down.. Thanks iyouxin for awesome content!
More, Moar... MOAR of this please!
Amazing content truly for ur community ❤
I absolutely adore the absence of any intro. Iyouxin means business.
That first position has served me very well ever since you showed it on stream a while back. What's a good position if you start on the other side?
Thanks for the advice very useful.
Thanks for the quick and useful vid,mr xin!
