Sorry mate, that is a vanos solenoid, it controls the oil pressure to the cam shaft to adjust the timing.
But for the rest you were on point! Cheers
Hello Mate,
After i have clean it if i don't connect to diagnose computer, is engine light gonna disappear? Because i don't have that machine and i m planning to try this.
So did this fix the problem permanently?
Thanks alots
Its great video. Easy to be understood coz video clip is detail
The car is similar with my car and problem also
awesome video my engine lights on atm and those venos sensors are going on my "can you check" list when i take mine in to bmw to get it sorted your a darling happy 2020 xo
Glad I could help. I currently have 2 engine lights on again! Never ending... I'll be making a video again fixing those issues!
Not sure if your active. BMW 328i 2008. Have the Half Engine Light, replaced MAF sensor and such already so not sure why I’m having such Air Flow issues
Did u pull out injectors or what?
Hey mate. Always here haha.
I didn't touch injectors or anything no. Mate my honest opinion would be to get your hands on a scan tool... or take it to somewhere that has one. So much easier to get an exact idea on something rather then ticking could bes off your list.
@@DamnBadGamer taking it now yea I’m kinda clueless ! Appreciate it tho
@@xavi7148 Hope you get It figured out man. Such painful cars at times haha
@@xavi7148 I pulled mine out about a month ago and now the car has half engine light out of no where it was running properly not it shuts off as soon as I start it and it says CCid-29
Top bloke sorted my car out just now doing this, thought worth a try deleted the codes and boom, gone
Glad it helped mate!
Any issues after you did this?
Damn i cannot pull the down one, looks kinda stuck
My car also got prblem like that check engine alarm light on and my car pickup down
Iwas change trotter body but the condition as same prblem sir...

Whats the bmw model?
07 e90 320i
@@DamnBadGamer now I have the same engine light in my e93 320i should I do the same thing like your video
Como quitar luz de check engañe de un bmw 325i
Dont speak Spanish sorry mate...
I bet the check engine light came back very soon....
What makes you say that?
I hate my car so much. It just had this engine light. It’s the second time now this year 😭😭😭
We got rid of ours man. Worst car I've owned. Will not touch a Bmw again haha
@@DamnBadGamer same! I don’t see myself buying anything from them. Never!
@@ahviwe It sucks mate because it was a really nice car to drive when it was working. But yeah i wont ever touch one again.
Tried this on my BMW 3 worked the same for me 3 months ago still ok well done good video
Any issues after you did this?
Yeah but not related to this. Headgasket and shit hahaha
Fantastic mate, it did work for me too, thank you so much for helping us with such a video keep posting more
Glad it helped mate, Should have another video coming up very soon, Mainly focusing on cam sensors and replacement of a rear window motor etc... :D
Its possible if engine lights come moter don’t go start ?
Good job mate! I've got the same Bosch Scan tool so I'll keep this video in mind if I come across this issue. Maybe build your channel around the e90 BMW's so you'll be the go-to fellah for all things e90?
Mate, With the amount of issues I've had I'm definetly considering that!
@@DamnBadGamer I've got just as many issues on my e36 BMW's so I feel your pain, maybe I should do a e36 channel! Lol
@@SteveInQLD007 Definetly should mate! According to the views on this video people definetly look it up alot haha
I'm Ffrom Brazil, tried it on my 320i 2006 and it's really good to me! THNKS!
Anyway i have another problem on my e90. When the car is started some noise coming like something rolling with the belt. Like something tangled on the belt. I know it weird i feel so stupid mechanic can’t fix it thats why im giving it a go thank you anyway
2 years later lol
Never buying a f’ing BMW again ..shizer mobiles
I feel ya there. This one is currently sitting in my driveway with a blown headgasket, valves are screwed and God knows what else... I'll never buy another.
@@DamnBadGamer mine just alerted when I posted and the garage said that the error codes indicate some issue it camshaft intake, they need to investigate. I am currently shitting myself thinking how much it will cost if it’s the worst case scenario.
Hi mate I’m from Melbourne I have same car and same problem it didn’t work for me .I need new vanos solenoid ,you know where I can buy them from? Thanks
Top stuff did this fix to my 08 320i.....it worked, removed the light and is running smoother
Found a car ,same light on . Wasn't sure to buy it or not
The half white engine light means it is working 50%- safe mode
Change your oil when this happens
Great video, great insight. Well done
Thanks mate. Appreciate it.
Thanks buddy worked for me
Happy to hear mate!
Hey, I have BMW e64 650i and thish check light too. Do you know what is can be a problem ?
My honest opinion would be to go to your local parts store and grab yourself a scan tool. Doesnt have to be expensive, Most of the time it will tell you exactly what the error is.
Hey man i just did a small pull in my e61 523i and that light showed up… What is it? Or What should i do?
My greatest advice... Sell the car. hahaha. Nah go to your local parts store mate and they should have a diagnostic tool, Get them to scan the car and see what comes up :)
@@DamnBadGamer i fixed the problem myself, i was just being a dumbass driving Way over the limit when the tpms lamp turned on and it limited my power, i reset the tire pressure and everything is working fine again….
Hello my car when i scann fault codes i get
2a70, 2a69,2a71,2a6b,2aee. Is any of deas ones same problem? It has the same Engine light tho and has gone into limpmode! Sorry for my bad english in from sweden tho :)

@@thabeazst8764 Everything im reading up mate seems to lead to your Valvetronic Motor.
Guys i have 2a6b and 2a67 codes. They are related to valvetronic motor. What should i do? I cleaned these selonoids but still i have engine light on.
Great, it is so helpful, I did it in the morning and it worked. The only thing not clear to me is what to do with the oil in the main part. Isnt the vanos going to be the same again when we put it back in there? As I could not clean the inside, I am expecting to have same problem?
I used a clean rag and cleaned out in there a little bit. But it should be fine. We had no further issues.
Hey!
I have just bought BMW E91 (2007, petrol engine 2.0 130HP) and Check Engine appeared. Should I extremely worry about that or can I visit mechanic? Do you know what it can mean? I have checked BMW forums and eveyone knows better, it could be anything (someone wrote that you shouldn't even turn on your engine..).
I know that's stupied question and without computer it will be hard to verify it, however, I'm not sure if I can visit my car mechanic.
I feel so stupied, however, thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Kuba
Hey mate, Easiest way is to buy yourself an OBD2 Scanner, Can get them cheap off Amazon etc... It should tell you exactly whats wrong. If not your local parts store should be able to scan it.
@@DamnBadGamer Thanks for your response. I have visited my mechanic today. He ereased all error messages and advise to drive this car until next Check Engine display. Maybe someone didn't clean up computer (There were issues related to lights, however, all lights are working properly and so one). We will see. Hope it isn't a big deal and we will sort it soon and it won't be so expensive...
Cheers.
@@kuba1901 Best of luck mate, These cars can be a nightmare... Hope it all works out for you.
@@DamnBadGamer Please don't scare me. It was a dream..hope it won't be a nightmare... :D
@@DamnBadGamer Mate, you were right. It's fucking nightmare. It takes oil.. 1l for 300 kilometers.
Hey brother. I have the same car same problem. I am so worried. Im about to get a obd2 scanner and i will do the same before take into the mechanic. I will update soon how it goes. Anyway thank you you are the man to go.
how was it brother? did it work?
Awesome video!
Try not to say "Ummm" too much. Other than that its good :D
Keep it up
Cheers man! Thanks for the feedback! Your not wrong, Im trying to.haha.
Have you check the code what’s it happen?
Had a few codes with this car mate. Not fun. This issue though was Vanos sensors if i remember correctly.
My faulty code was pressure something, and i didnt get enough boost...
@@DamnBadGamer i have the same problem in my bmw e90 318i 2006 the half check engine and i have the code but i am not sure what is it the code is P1061 Dodge-> MAP Circuits Low you know maybe rhis code my friend?
