Shawn was a beautiful man. We got chatting on messenger years ago and he took the time to listen to some of the demos of songs I wrote when my dad passed away. I’m just a bedroom musician, but he was sweet and gracious and encouraging and had obviously really listened to the words and music despite it being very home made and amateurish. He was so happy to see all his fans the first round of solo shows in London (Putney) and had a beer with us after the show. A true gentleman. God bless you Shawn. Your music was our little gang’s precious secret. Much missed brother.
Thank you Regan. What a video to an amazing song. Long live the Satchel Partnership, the Brad Corporation, and long may Shawn’s voice be heard and loved. I will carry the torch for my brother ‘til I die.
What an absolutely brilliant track. Fuck....I needed to hear this. Can't wait to hear the full album and what a high note for Shawn to leave us with. R.I.P.
Missed this album since today, fantastic stuff, great vocals as usual, killer guitars and sick melodies, make me nostalgic, i'm in tears, so good, thank you!
Wowsers, a wonderful song, a halting return of that voice...and what a video. We’re all still out here soundtracking our lives with your creations guys, thank you. Did not expect this. It hit hard. A worthy marking of this day all those years ago.
No question, that this band has produced some of the best damn music I have ever heard. They also have played some of the best fucking shows I have ever seen. I hope Mike made it to work on time the day after the show at the Roseland Theater in Portland, in 2001. I didn't mean to get him that high. 😂
This HAS to be the next Bond Theme? Its perfect. And Stones guitar hook is soooo Bond. I can even see it as the Bond film title!.. Imagine this tune over the closing credits?.. Im putting this out there now.....do it do it!
Shawn and I shared a birthday. Hearing "In The Moment That You're Born" today, on what would have been my dad's 91st birthday, hit me really hard, but in the most beautiful way. ❤ Fingers double crossed that Satchel: EDC will be released on vinyl in my lifetime. It's one of my very favorite albums to come out of the entire Seattle scene (I lived there from 1986-1999). Thank you, Regan.
I’m so glad that the band ventured onto a different path. It is a fitting legacy to our Shawn. I love that Brad continued to grow as a band and always frickin’ rocked.
Stunning Regan! Tremendous tune, I remember Shawn working on it. It’s like Shawn is the weather, you and Keith are the ocean and Stoney is just carvin up the wave. Big Love. Miss you Shawn…
Wow what great track from the new album. I love the lo fi vibe it has and this is a perfect send off for Shawn and the rest of Brad. I remember when I bought the first record Shame back in July of 1993. Had alot great time listening to that record and Brad has never disappointed me since. Can't wait for the new LP to come out.
Wow. What a song to leave behind. There is something so magical…about that smile of his being reborn. Miss him but really happy that he left his vibration behind on this Earth for everyone to enjoy. I agree also…it has a JAMES BOND movie essence. 🎤🎸🥁🎶♾️🌊🦅🤘♥️ Thank you for finishing the songs and releasing it as a gift for others. Love Never Dies.
That was awesome! Looking forward to the new album as well as the 30th anniversary LE's. The final piece of this puzzle is getting Satchel EDC on vinyl. Released in 1994, a 2024 edition would make sense. As well as Malfunkshun's Return to Olympus. Those two would round out my vinyl collection. Regan.... Stone..... give us some hope!!!!
Stone’s guitar work on this is simply superb. Easily one of my favorites for him. The song is huge in an understated way. Or understated in a huge way. I love the structure so much. Almost wanted to hear the chorus one more time. But less is more. The vocal is really interesting. Was it pitch-shifted to align with the music at all or was the song tracked when Shawn was still with us? What I would give to be able to talk to the guys about this song and entire album project!
Guys, this is brilliant. Both new tracks are brilliant, feels like the album could be really special. So bittersweet without Sean. What a stunning legacy to leave though!
Love this. Curious if they used a pitch shifter or something like that to drop his voice down that low. Still amazing to hear his voice and this kind of music...refreshing. Thx guys!
Such an awesome song 😎✌️❤️
Amazing video Regan 👏
RIP Shawn 😢
Long Live Brad ❤
Thank You Loosegroove 🙏

One of the best vocals.
It's a mind-blowing track. I get the chills everytime I listen to it. I was completly surprissed when I saw a new track from Brad in my release radar.

Really miss Shawn and his music. A haunting track with that guitar tone and Shawn's voice a liitle deeper than I'm used to.
I’m so glad that the band ventured onto a different path. It is a fitting legacy to our Shawn. I love that Brad continued to grow as a band and always frickin’ rocked.

I thought Shawn died and we lost the chance of hearing any new music.... He will never let us down
Check out the album F!RES "High Tide" awesome Shawn backing vocals on it. Peace
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
Thanks Regan ......
Made my day! 🥰
FINALLY!!!!
When Shawn Smith died , this was his last song with Brad. Beautiful
Blown away by this song. Wish Shawn was still alive.
I really believe that from 1:40 is the best thing Stone has ever played. Ever.
I mean Alive is his riff and it’s ascended the classic rock Mt. Olympus to the very top where only legends reside.
no lyrics?
Are there are any bands out there that sound like this song? like this style of rock?
F!RES and Dark State Lines some of Regan's side projects

I feel cheated he is not with us anymore.
Doesn't sound like Shawn at all? Great song mind.
He had done this a few times with his voice. Example: "Through the Day" by Brad.
@@bladerunner1b hey blade! What a friggin’ song man!!!
@@richarddiaz1241 Yeah man Stone absolutely kills it here, I love it : )
