I have NEVER commented on any UA-cam video. I just have to tell you how good you are. Keep doing what you are doing. You are a great teacher, very detailed video. Yours is the best so far.👍👍👍
If you still need some help sewing for the 7 year old, let me know. I may be wrong but it look like you were informing the host that you were sewing for a 7 year old boy. Did you need any help with the measurements?
@@gloriaking624 in case you didn't receive your answer: In this video it was mentioned @1:43 at the hip line that the hip measurement should be divided by 4 + seam allowance if needed. You are to determine what seam allowance you want to work with. Therefore if you added 1 inch seam allowance. That is the seam allowance for you to use. Personally I added 2 inches which gave me an inch on each side of the body. I don't usually sew using such a huge seam allowance. (I usually use .75 or 1/4 in seam allowance.) The extra amount that I've added of those 2 inches I consider as ease. This allows the children to be able to move comfortable and to grow into them. I hope this helps.
Agreed. Because the pants are for children and an elastic band style the hip measurement will work great. This may not work if the childs waist line is larger than their hip measurement. Otherwise this should work great. Although this is a easy to follow video. the creator isn't thinking about the beginner drafters. They aren't considering that providing the numbers they are using do not help anyone to understand. A people can only follow along and make what they are making. Without providing the measurements of the person they are creating the garment for, we can't not make adjustments for the person we may be creating the items for. I hope I was able to help you. Good luck creating your pants.

Ladies pants 👖. Show us how to do pencil pants.
You never show us the measurements for the waist line.
You don’t need a waistline measurement, just use the hip line
