I recall a video awhile back where you talked about the plastic snaps you purchased, and mentioned they worked well but you prefer metal if you had a choice. I agree for nice bags. And now you have a series of small gifts using those plastic snaps which are perfect projects for plastic. I admire how creative and clever you are as a designer. Its as if you made lemonade from lemons (great small projects from having plastic snaps). ✌☺
I actually love them now for these little projects. I wouldnt use on a large bag, they just wouldnt look right, but for this sort of thing they are invaluable - great for messing about too as they cost virtually nothing whereas the metal snaps cost a fortune
Another great tutorial....this is exactly what I've been wanting for my car key fob! When I looked at the Hera marker online, I realized I already had one in my personal stash! Never used, but now I will to make your cute gift boxes! Thank you....I'm thrilled to have found your site & group!
Thank you, very generous of you, they are brilliant and in lockdown we can make loads for family and friends for Xmas, could watch your videos all day, you are a fantastic teacher. Stay safe xxx
Thank you again for the lovely free gifted pattern. The boxes are so cute 😊. I can’t wait to have ago, I also don’t have Facebook, will be good to make when you have completed the series. 🤗
Love this idea, Thanks so much. Just an idea, an svg file would be great. Then You could cut them out at the same time using a silhoutte or cricut machine.
Lovely ideas for Christmas just in time. Also the one that holds the coin would be great to add to this group.I have never heard of a micro text needle could you please tell me what it is? Thank you for sharing your videos you’re great.
Microtex needles are made with a very slim, sharp, acute point for easier piercing of very fine or densely woven fabrics. They allow for precise stitching of edges and are great in bag making for fabrics like vinyl, cork and oilskin - they don't leave huge holes in your fabrics
Holy SNAP (no pun), You simply amaze me! I love how cute these are, and the fact that the item is pulled up and hidden. How clever is that?! Thank you Diane!! I've purchased 4 more of your patterns yesterday, and now I have this one to add too....I've got to get busy! ❤
Awesome. Easy an beginner friendly! Thank you. And by the way THAT BRACELET IS GORGEOUS!!! Also, question. If using glue, doesn't it gunk up the feed dog or needle? And should it be dry before sewing? (Never used fabric glue in sewing)
Thanks - I just bought the bracelet because I can add matching fabric inside it - talk about co-ordinating! (the necklace matches too). The glue is Fabri-tac and is made especially for fabric - I use it wet and dried and have never had any issue. Here is a link to it on Amazon amzn.to/3mBuAi6
Diane, Thanks for another great gift idea!! LOVE the boxes as well! Would there be a separate file for the boxes so that we can print different colours of boxes like you have in the video?
Diane you are so amazing! What perfect gifts for the holidays! The boxes are lovely too😍💯💕. Wondering if I can ask a HUGE favor... Could you make your box printable With a blank & pattern but no color background options so that we could print it onto colored card stock? Also, It would also be great if you could create the label and the logo as separate items that we could put on as a sticker? That would allow us to use holiday or occasion appropriate pre-printed card stock and just put the labels onto the boxes and bust thru all the card stock stashes we might have! 😉💕
Can definitely add a blank no problems - I've got one already with just the notions on white which would be nice on the inside even if using the printed card stock on the outside, but I'll rustle one up. Will squeeze the stickers in if I can xx
@@SpencerOgg Diane you are amazing! 😍Thank you for being so accommodating! I am actually prepping my shops to turn over into Christmas right now and these projects and boxes will be so perfect! The design only on white background template is perfect in that it will go on any plain colored or shimmer cardstock! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving us so many great items to help keep our small businesses relevant! 💕🏆💕💪💕🏆💕💪💕

@@SpencerOgg I would like to practice some of your pouch holders on pvc from dunhelm as I see they sell it. I also ordered the same set of snap fasteners on amazon that you have (your video). Will these snaps with the pliers work okay on one layer of pvc?
