I don't deny someone like A'ja isn't a great player - she's not marketable... to a scale like Caitlin is... Caitlin is on a Tiger Woods, Serena Williams, Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Sidney Crosby type level in her sport... they have an "it" factor... something the rest just don't have...

Love the Fever but the bad coaching makes them play dumb. The low basketball IQ, dropped dime passes, air balls, bigs can’t/won’t set a proper screen for shooters, consistently turning your back on opponents on defense leaving 3pt line open, trotting back on defense, standing around on offense. The coaching is 🗑️. Can’t watch a full game. I’m done thanks CC keep your chin up kid!

6:55 HARD foul on the screen by #25 Alyssa Thomas on CC just outside the left elbow. AT hits CC with her left shoulder and arm, puts CC on the floor. No call. [Suns score]
12:43 CC drives and is hacked by Marina Maybry, down and a across the neck/head, knocks her down. No call. [No shot]

i really would like to see her leave the WNBA - Ice Cube has a league and I think Dave Portnoy offered a pretty hefty sum (more than the Fever) - but she declined it. It would be great to see her bail, and somehow opt out of that dead end Nike contract... it would send these knuckle draggers back into obscurity and dead end pay. what's just absurd is the amt of bigotry and hatred towards a white player coming into the league and getting attention... just absurd.

She could be a 10x MVP - and no one would have cared, no one's going to produce anything substantial for her because no matter how good she is - she doesn't have an "it" factor - it's such a small % of fans who actually would pay real $ to buy something she endorsed. And everyone knows - in marketing - the "it" factor like Serena Williams has it, Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Sidney Crosby... they had the "it" factor in their respective sports... People in mass tuned into the WNBA specifically to watch Caitlin... and had the WNBA been smart and cared about these other women... they would have dropped a hammer early, and protected the league and the players from themselves. The league would have promoted and rode the coattails but they didn't - they went along with the bigotry and the hate, and the racist nonsense from female commentators who were ex players (Swoops and Co.) and so many of the others in the league that just couldn't stand the level of attention she was receiving along with the marketing $'s. Caitlin breaking so many of their records and doing things no rookie has ever done, along with capturing the ROY easily... unanimously this year - was a great year 1.

All the non basketball fans gn the aces & Aja are still in it. They have soldout tickets this year & next season as well because they actually have a good team. Clark always cracks under pressure she shot horribly & can't defend anybody a liability on defense especially when shes being defend against. This isnt Iowa 😂damn near started with a 20 point lead but couldn't hit the side of a barn down the stretch as usual another choke by cc. Now all her fans can shut up until next year.Us real fans can enjoy better teams play better ball in peace. Without all the excuses. It was her teammates or her coach or the refs lol it was her not putting her team on her back & making them better when it counts she won as many playoff games as Angel lol. Fever played horrible besides clark she didn't play good but didn't play bad as her team did. Mitchell didn't show up she was like 10 points behind her average and thats what eliminated them. But yea clark has some work to do till she can start winning championships. First they gotta get rid of that stupid coach they have! All season i didn't see her set up a 3 point for clark pathetic! They we're mostly contested 3s. I would build up 5 or 6 of those a game after timeouts or during the game were she shoots from normal range of a screen.
Great season for the Fever. Englebert has to definitely look at expanding the first round. It's tough to say goodbye to your most popular player without her even having the benefit of a home playoff game. It looks like it's gonna be 4 sweeps in the 1st round. I'm sure that's not what leadership and advertisers want to see in the future.
Lets be honest nobody can shoot. it took half the first quarter for either teams to get to double figures. CC is exciting but she's copping alot of heat. Let's hope everyone thinks to watch these games come next season. I'd love to see that Canadian girl in the WNBA she's got hops.
