Spaniard here: Olive trees are not supposed to be inside or stay potted, they need space outside to fully grow and stand the test of time. These trees can live for even 500 years and are very delicate; need a lot of sunlight and not too much humidity... I'm not sure a NYC appartment is suited for it 🥲. They're also very, very precious.
