Hey thank you so much for coming out and doing the video ! We strive to have as much TCG vendors as possible! Let us know if you plan to come back again!
@@OnlineNobodys Thank you! Good luck with your video! A bit of advice, make sure your angle is where you want it even when you lean forward to look in a case. I had several angles that were messed up because I didn’t realize I was messing up the shot. Hope it goes well!
I’m sorry but the vendor trying to force the leafeon is sooo lame. As soon as you confirmed no leafeon all the sudden he doesn’t want your slab for his pc anymore lmao
Yeeeaaaahh. I meeeaaan, I get it. He was hoping to get my cash and use some of that cash to buy what he wanted, but I was trying to do the same thing in our trade. The only thing I didn’t like was the back and forth on value. It started to get confusing, and he ended up getting a really good deal. I’m happy because the charizard I got back is really clean. Def a gradable card. I already sent it in.
Most shows are 300 a table plus inventory comes from store fronts with over head how is there still sticker shock in 2024 . i goto a show i expect 20% over market tax in general
That's a fair point. I think my biggest thing is there is a rift in the market when vendors are over leveraged in a card and have to hold firm on above market pricing, versus a vendor being willing to take a loss if the market dictates a decline for the sake of doing business. We try hard to make sure our prices are always fair to current market, even if we need to take a small loss. There's also nothing wrong with admitting this. It's the nature of the business. I'm just saying, we'll take our business to the next vendor if it means getting a card for a fair market value.
The guy with the leafeon was annoying. There’s absolutely no way I would deal with that dude. Looked at his booth but so glad I didn’t try to make a deal. I get he’s gotta make a profit but he was being scummy. And you gave him waaaaay too good of a deal! But I guess if you’re grading them yourself you probably didn’t lose too bad
@@RelicHunterBud I was pretty close to walking away a couple times, but I have some thick skin for negotiating. I’m okay with it and try to give people the benefit of the doubt. I figured his persistence of trying to sell through my no’s meant he had more wiggle room on the card. Guess not though 🤷♂️ All good. Got the card I wanted to grade. I basically broke even on the slab I traded him so it was worth.
Tell me about it. There been a rude ass vendor that was such a douche he snatch his binder from me from looking at it and searching up comps because he thinks I was tryna find some steals on em 😂😂 he looked like a douche too like them nerdy ones that talk alot of smack
@@petervang5384 Yikes. Sorry that happened to you, but yeah, you get an unreasonable vendor from time to time. I’ve never had a binder taken out of my hands before though SHEESH. I would have just walked away 😅
This was awesome! Love the buyer POV

I sold that Charizard in a PSA 10. The vendor told me there’s 4k in a 10 😬
@@PocketmonTrapper like 4,000 population, or $4,000? 😅

@@MusicCityGames Never take a loss never be fair always trade and buy to your own advantage wise words from a full timer
I've never paid market for a card at a show. Always 10 percent or more less. Gotta haggle w these vendors.
