      yeah pretty crazy right.
      He probably has a pretty fun job but it is of course still a job. Which can be very exhausting and may lead to some amount of stress. My point being even some of the most successful people suffered from depression and illness of course. That he seems to have a successful (and interesting) career doesn't necessarily mean he has an amazing life.

Hope that clears it for you. :-)

      Time is actually the only absolute truth. Math is not the universal “language”. Time is, all who exist experience times effects. Everyone and everything. Math is just something we watered down for our human brains to understand. Even the most extensive mathematical formulas have been made to be understood by our brains. Yet time can be understood by all creatures. Everything gets older, everything at some point dies. If it was ever alive. Time is the universal language. The only truth.

    According to Einstein's theory of relativity time by physical definition is the movement of light. Traveling forward in time is physically possible because of time dilation but traveling backward in time is a little more complicated. According to the laws of physics mass causes bending in space and by bending space, altering the movement of light and therefore changing the speed of time itself. Einstein's famous equation e=mc^2 can be broken down as energy is equivalent to mass multiplied by celeratos (the speed of light) squared, change one variable and the whole equation changes to suit. One thing this equation shows is that as you approach the speed of light, energy becomes mass. Therefore rendering it impossible to reach the speed of light. But Einstein also did a lot of physics work on gravity, and how it distorts space and time. Essentially large amounts of gravity changes the universe ~continued below~

    • @Sharpshootershot
      @Sharpshootershot 8 років тому +12

      If you have a large amount of energy it will change mass, and therefore time. (WARNING THEORETICAL PHYSICS AHEAD: SOME OF THIS IS NOT COMPLETELY PROVEN IN A PHYSICAL SENSE ALTHOUGH THE MATH CHECKS OUT) If a large amount of force or gravity is present space and time can become distorted, intertwined and separate at the same time. Essentially this effect is called frame dragging. Frame dragging is when each individual moment where light is occupying new space is locked in space and basically screwing up time and space a lot. If frame dragging continues for long enough, a wormhole appears. A worm hole is basically a connection between any point in time after the wormhole is opened and another point after the wormhole is opened. So can we recreate this? Actually, as much as this sounds like a science fiction novel, yes we can, yay go science. There are many physicists doing further study into time and some are even trying to model devices to create controllable wormholes. ~continued below~

    • @Sharpshootershot
      @Sharpshootershot 8 років тому +17

      Of course none of these devices have been created yet but theoretically speaking it makes sense. Although we haven't been able to observe wormholes yet, we can observe huge amounts of gravity. One such example are black holes. Which are bodies of mass than are so dense that the gravity they emit is so intense that not even light itself can escape. If you've ever seen a picture of a black hole (the actual pictures not the ones with the huge swirling disks around them) if you look at the edge of the black hole the light looks distorted and "wavy" that is a class A example of frame dragging. So in short time travel is possible and all the conceived thoughts you have about time are invalid. Mark Owens out. *drops mic*

      They come to your house
      They call you cis white scum
      And say
      We’re oppressed
      Oppressed
      Where is your mind?
      Humanity cries
      You think you're oppressed

      define "truly" - relativity already has an impact on our lives, consider GPS. Global positioning has to take relativity into account, or else you'd perhaps end up in Paris if you want to drive to Moscow.

      Ain't gonna happen - not that way. Inertia. The body can't withstand much more than 1G acceleration for indefinite periods of time. It takes 1 year at 1G to get up to around light speed. And you won't even get 1/8 the way to the nearest star. It won't be much different than 1 year ship-time either.

    5 50 Then how did the Universe start out in such a low-entropy state? If space is empty (which it isn't, but assume it is), then how can it have been 'created' out of nothing, if it itself is nothing?

    • @GabeLucario
      @GabeLucario 7 років тому +1

      Is the Universe actually a closed system? If it's infinite, can entropy decrease? But if it can only increase (or stagnate), why can we lower it in one part (and raise it in another)?

    • @jamesmurphy8676
      @jamesmurphy8676 7 років тому +5

      I've postulated this myself. Everyone considers the big bang to be the beginning (apart from theists) but what exploded exactly if there was NOTHING to begin with? something from absolutely nothing. Seems this is completely overlooked.

      @childish1trickz 6 років тому +1

      GabeLucario this is a good one simple tho when you think about it imagine a giant vat of water an infinite amount now leave it for a milinia life will grow and flurioush the universe is the same. On a giant scale the cool thing about empty space is that it sits in a start of 1 or 0 space or no space right? Well if you leave all of everything on a 0 and they all run and push together eventually those 0’s will force a 1 if that makes sense

    tbh, I've always thought of time as a river. It exists, past, present and future, all at one, but it flows in only one specific direction. And also that if you were to time travel and try to divert time by changing something, like a river, it will do its danm well best to get back on course and render your change null and void.
    Or it'll laugh at you, make a little off-shoot where your change goes through and shove you on that route, leaving the original timeline untouched.

  • @GuessWhatHappened1

      There is no law of physics that says time travel is impossible

    • @GuessWhatHappened1

      Cameron Williams It's impossible to time travel to the past. What's preventing the machine it's for reverting, or the traveler? Meaning if the machine is return to it's past form, so will the traveler(s). It would put in a state pier to their venture. Negating the attempt in the first place.

    • @GuessWhatHappened1
      @GuessWhatHappened1 8 років тому +1

      +Cameron Williams If you think about it, it makes sense. Say you want to travel to 1900s would all matter have to revert to its state in the 1900s, meaning some of the ore used for the machine would have to return as it was. The machine would have to revert as well as the traveler.
