@@StatueBossProductions found out a bit more from PureArts. On the sword arm they’re is a small battery door where the red arrow is. It’s held in place by a magnet. Just lift it and it will reveal the battery compartment. We don’t have information on what battery type fits there but I suspect it might be 2 A76 button cells.
By the way, sorry for my short assessment of your review. The details and the information was very good. Now I’m thinking this statue will be my favorite. I’ve already planned the placement of it. I will send you an image when it’s done. Thanks again!
Good review as always! I think some of the negative aspects of this piece include: 1. The animus light effect does not extend to the sword which is a shame. 2. The use of batteries should be an option and not a must, given that you can not display this big piece and leave the batteries in the compartment for a long time, as such an optional DC adaptor would have been sweet!. 3. The head sculpt could have been better and the inclusion of an alternative portrait would attract many collectors. 4. A lot of small fragile bits that can easily break.
