Man Corey, I cannot even begin to express how grateful I am for you doing this video. The last of my SPE packages arrived a couple days ago and I'll be doing this exact install (exact same components - stock turbo) on my 2011 F250 (purchased May 2010 -198k miles). Please don't leave anything out, as I'll be using this as my tear-out/installation guide! 😅 Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU again!!!
Prior duramax owner, but built my buddy’s ‘12 F250 6.7 for him while he was stationed overseas and these trucks are so easy to work on. I didn’t go into the fuel system but after living with a duramax for 5 years it was pretty enjoyable to work on. Thing rips too. Making me want one of my own now. Parking that exhaust bolt seemed like just have to use common sense, take your time and don’t be a gorilla. Working that bolt up and spray it, run it back down, about 8 times did the trick to get the PB set into the threads. That bold drags soot up with it and jacks the threads up. Have to spray and sink it back down a few times to get that PB to loosen everything up.
3:48 that is absolutely not how the stock turbo works there’s two compressor wheels back to back from eachother it’s not just another intake port. You get the best of both worlds small compressor wheel no lag big compressor wheel for higher boost numbers
You think that's bad, i ran my hose to the back axel, but i didn’t zip tie it properly. That caused a dip in the hose running down the frame. Since the internal catch cheese grater doesn't catch everything at idle and i did a lot of idling in the recent cold weather, mine started smokin like a bitch. Straightened it out and zipped it properly and, NO MORE SMOKE!!! I think i may have screwed up the turbo though. Ive got oil in the engine valley and my mileage has shit the bed. Thoughts?
I’ve done this same job so many times I can’t count the in 2020 they changed those 8mm’s to 3/8ths I guess the factory got tired of us replacing exhaust manifolds cause I’ll be damned if I’m drilling and retapping that thing I can have the turbo out faster than drilling and tapping them
Hi Corey, Love the content, I am about to purchase a 2023 High output 6.7 Powerstroke F250, which will take 12months till it's ready. I am definitely keen on doing some mods around either the CCV or its partner that causes issues, has anyone in US ever run a vac pump on the CCV suction and plumbed back into the intake manifold? I will obviously be blanking off the other crap. I just do not want Crank case breathing to atmosphere with a new truck. Could I get an Email address from you to discuss some other mods around fuel system on CP4, Cheers Matt from Australia
Hey sir a subscriber here love all videos i own a 2001 7.3l powerstroke and just wondering if it would be possible fixe a 6.7l powerstroke on it? Lol thanks 🤙🏻
Hey bro would you and the guys be willing to help me out here in FL? I’ll even drive the family up there to PA to meet you all and get the truck done. Please let me know
Anybody know what happed to that guys truck that lost control (at what 3mph?) while towing a float in a parade and plowed into part of the parade unfortunately killing a young girl. What happened?
Hate to be that guy but it's far from an "industry first", MPD released our 11-14 SST piping kit about 18-19 months ago. Just so we can all be factually accurate.
I'm not going to blame Ford, GM or Dodge for this issue... but, when you open up an upper intake manifold and see that amount of soot and grime and oil.... OMG, how could you NOT acknowledge the clearly obvious example of the garbage the motor is sucking up? This isn't a one off issue... This is government at its finest. Get rid of this emissions garbage and allow your motor to run for a million miles.
God Bless You all. All Glory to God!!!!!!! Repent and live for the Lord Jesus!! I promise you won’t regret it. Romans 10:9 “if you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God rose Him from the dead you will be saved.”

Looking to do literally everything you just did to my '11. What a sweet look when you pop the hood
Happy thanksgiving. I grateful for a single cab update. Would be 2x happy for another one!!!
Where can we get that SPE EGR delete plate @12:34?
❤Thankyou for taking the time in making this video.
The coolest thing about this video IMO, is that sweet Topside Creeper. What an amazing tool. Never seen one of those. 👍
So glad someone made a kit finally!
Holy cow bout time for the 2011 upgrade been waiting
Soaked the bolts every day for a week prior to "the job" and those bolts came right out not one single curse word lol
I did that and mine still broke
Soaking them does nothing it doesn’t even reach the threads. Put an air chisel against the pipe as ur turning them and they’ll come out
I ended up picking up topside creeper. Game changer.
Will u show how to do a hoodstack on a new powerstroke. I want one clean and low. I'm not seeing any kits or ppl with newer 6.7s hood stacked
where can the EGR "Vanity Plate" be purchased at ?

I want to buy a 6.7 this year so badly. I’d like a 2015-17 love the big chrome grill
Made the turbo look huge In thumbnail lmao
I love the truck.. I’m trying to get a single cab soon
I’d say negatory ghost rider polishing the logo. Great truck.

Were yall able to do all of this in one day?
We need a stage 2 package for 20+ !
Polish the SPE!
My 11 turbo blew at 100k miles 160k km stock.

Yea, mine was a mess on my 2014.
Dukes of hazard said it to cooter
Is it me or does that second pipe look like the rabbit lmao
Strike stage 2 turbo????? Ohhhhh come on man!!
Some other parts missing too
this is everything I want to do to my '14!! I just need to finish my 68 high boy build first

OE style roto-molded?? My bad I didn’t know they had that too. Any pics??
@@TopCorey No, it's an actual full stainless intake. Plenty online.
didn't you guys have the pipe like 5-6 years ago with the compound kit of the SST?
Ha! That’s funny. I waited 1.5 years for that lower intake pipe for the GT32, and never got it. Funny how you have one since you’re a buddy. Fuck SPE
Honestly crazy I did too, lost money because of them, company makes great parts but their customer service sucks ass god damn
A place in Texas sells them way back like 2 yrs ago they came up with the piping kit
@@riverafam2825 yea I made my own, cut and shaved down the lower intake.
@@riverafam2825 got any info on the shop that makes them?
