You recently talked about watching certain youtubers when you’re feeling down or anxious. You are that UA-camr for me! I love all your videos and am really enjoying how you’re branching out into lifestyle videos as well💜
I love this video concept. I totally get that beauty UA-camrs get the most views when they talk about new releases, but I’m past the point of needing the latest and greatest. I’m playing around with a personal rule that I’m not going to consider a new release until it’s been around for a year and people are still talking about it. I will miss out on some good products, but I will miss out on many more regret purchases.
Brown girl who has been watching you for years. Never can utilize you for shade reference (🤣🤣) but I love your videos for how thorough of a review you give! Thank you for always having integrity Jess!
The IT Illumination powder is absolutely beautiful. I keep going back to it as well. At 67, nothing gives such a soft just slightly illuminated finish and doesn't settle into fine lines. Love love love it.
Hi, Jessica! I almost never comment on UA-cam videos, but I’ve been watching your channel for a while and very much enjoy you and your content. I’m guessing that I’m about a couple of decades older than you, but I still find you relatable. I look forward to your videos because I’m drawn to your positive nature. Thank you for being genuine, humble, real and pleasant. The world could use more people like you!
I have oily skin and I still love the Missha bb cream, it's just covers redness so nicely while looking natural, but I do need to powder my t-zone with when I use it.
Thank you, thank you for providing content while you're away on your adventure, Jessica. I hope you and your family are having a fabulous time. I've been enjoying your content on IG. (Sorry about your luggage!)
Ooo...Jess..could you do a tutorial on applying that powder foundation? The brush you use and how you can go from light to full coverage. And the wet sponge trick. Share please. :)
I think it’s funny when people get their “receipts” to prove someone once hated something but now they love it (and vice versa). Can we not change our minds on something?! Time goes by, we try new products, our preferences change, our SKIN changes, and even sometimes formulas change (or the last time we tried something it could have been a dud in the batch)! I change my mind on products allll the time and I know I’m not the only one... but since a UA-camr’s life is all documented online some people make it such a big deal/claim they can’t “trust” someone. 🙄😂
Makeup Revolution has a dupe for the Mac Paint Pots. They are really good. I ran out of my Mac one so I got the MUR one and it’s just as good and it’s $8.
Your videos are so calming for me. Tomorrow I start a new iv treatment and I'm terrified of needles but I have a bunch of your videos queued up to watch throughout it. Thank you for being that person for so many of us ❤️
You are definitely my cozy, feeling good UA-cam choice. Your channel is my comfort channel. You’re relatable, adorable, a mom, not excessive in your makeup tastes, an exerciser, and you aren’t a luxury brand snob (like with clothes, shoes, bags, and makeup). Fellow ex-teacher (now I just substitute occasionally), so I relate in so many ways.
I bought the LA Girl brow pencil on your recommendation and I love it but I had the same problem with staying power; I started using my brow gel *first*, then the pencil. It works!
I bought the Missha BB cream because of you. I've tried *so* many foundations and just couldn't find one I loved. Holy moly, Missha is my go to no matter what! Itsgot the coverage, easy to apply, looks like my skin but better! Its like a full coverage foundation without the weight, cake, settling into fine lines! I'm 46, so if any more "mature" ladies are reading this, you should really try it out!
I’m kind of wondering if a foundation or a creamy concealer in a darker shade would work as a “dupe” for the liquid bronzer. I’d love to see a video trying different ones to recreate the look.
I have the maybelline fit me concealer and the milk baked bronzer and the color is EXACTLY THE SAME. However the fit me formula takes quite some skill to blend out without a sponge whereas the milk is very user friendly.
I'm the same way with my Ulta shopping bag! I leave things in there for a few days and make sure I really want them. You totally got me hooked on the essence mascara and the Renaissance flick eyeliner!! They're my favorites!! Hope you're having a wonderful time in Europe! 💕
Hey Jessica! I love your channel, and I had an idea: could you do a fancy, night on the town going out tutorial? I love all of your fresh faced, clean everyday makeup looks and I’m wondering what you do for a dressy event? Thanks!
I 100% use my shopping carts to let me figure out which products I want. I’ve left my carts for over a month, only signing in to make sure they stay there, and it’s wonderful!
Because of you the L.A. Girl brow pencil in brunette is my new holy grail!! I’ve been searching for two years for the perfect toned brow pencil and it’s literally perfect😍
Oily skinned girl here and I love the Missha BB Cream! I wear shade 27 and it has the perfect yellow undertone. I use a mattifying primer underneath and a mattifying loose powder to set it. It lasts all day on my skin. Walmart sells this on their website for $11.98.
Oily skinned fan of the Missha bb cream here! I've been using it for like...7ish years now. I can't stand the feel of foundation on my face. Even on my oily skin, the Missha stuff sinks in and feels like nothing! Other base products (bb creams included) rub off or get streaky when my skin gets oily throughout the day, but the Missha one somehow magically sticks on, even if I blot my face or dab it with a towel on really humid summer days. In the humid summer, I did notice that it looks the best for the longest if I apply it with my fingers and then go over with a damp beauty sponge to absorb any of the extra moisture, but the rest of the year I just apply with fingers and go!
Thanks to all the Veterans whose sacrifices and efforts are celebrated today! 👍❤️😁. We cruise a lot. Great video. Travel makeup and skincare have to be tried and true for me because it’s hard to find alternatives while traveling if something breaks me out or doesn’t work well.
I LOVE IT cosmetics illumination Celebration foundation too!!!!! I use it as my setting powder after foundation to fix any spots I missed. Also on light makeup days it is my foundation. It’s also great in your purse for quick touchups. Love love love
I have oily skin and I use the missha bb cream. I like the coverage and evening out of my skin tone that it provides, however I do find that it wears off fairly quickly throughout the day. In the summer I did get some oil coming through even with powder but as it’s cooled down and I’m not sweating as much it’s a lot better. I love the way it feels on my skin but I’m still debating if I would repurchase it.
Jess if you decide to dabble with more Kylie products you have to try her concealer. It’s beautiful and I do not set it. It obviously creases initially but after blending out with my finger at the end of my routine it will stay beautifully for the rest of the day.
YES! The best way to end a three day weekend with a video from Jess! 🎉🙌🏼 Happy three day weekend to all the teachers out there! (And everyone else too) 😝
i would say just by a liquid concealer that has light to medium coverage at the drugstore that blends really well or even a darker foundation and you can you that as liquid bronzer
I agree, the NYX Epic Ink liner is runny and the Makeup Revolution Flick liner is perfection! Now I want the It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation and Mischa BB Cream! 😆 Great video!!
I have fairly oily skin and I love the Missha BB cream. It's not the longest lasting on me, but as long as I set it with a decent powder, it'll last through an 8 hour day with no problems! I love the Missha BB Boomer too. It's my favorite primer with any foundation!
oily skin girl like even double wear looks greasy on me after a couple of hours, this is AMAZING! I use my matte primer but I don't get super oily when I use the missha bb and it looks so pretty on my skin or mixed into my other foundations. I love it and I get it off amazon so i'm hoping its the same thing but absolutely love it! I also set mine with the fit me loose powder like I do any foundation
please try the missha color stick in sepia filter! it's my new favorite find, the PERFECT contour. works for a vast variety of skin tones. thanks for the upload :)
The it cosmetics foundation is hands down my favorite powder foundation! It’s become my go to every day foundation for work and day to day wear! I swear we are twins in our makeup taste! I started buying the Revolution eye liner from your recommendations too!
I love your videos so much Jessica! I love how you take the time to explain why you like/don't like a product, versus when we simply hear like: "I like it, it makes my lashes pretty" ok, but WHAT DO YOU MEAAAN by "pretty"? 😂 I just love that you take the time to explain everything.
I have a ridiculous amount of luxury foundations, and bb creams, but I continuously repurchase the Missha bb cream in #21. It is so gorgeous! I use the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Makeup Primer +, underneath. It lasts well all day through dance class, and middle Tennessee humidity. My other favorite foundation is the Dior Forever Skin Glow 24 Hour Wear Radiant Perfection Skin -Caring Foundation, but it’s $52 verses $13. Honestly, in my opinion, the Missha bb cream is unbeatable.
An oily gal here, trying Missha no. 23. Yesss, I agree it has great coverage but still skin-like. I use it less for around nose, chin, and center of forehead. Then, I used powder to calm down before becoming a greaseball.
I’ve lost count of the amount of lash extension mascara tubes I have bought! Love the hoodie and sparkly headband look. This hoodie is such a nice and different colour. I wish we had Target here!
Hi Jess! Daniel Sandler makes liquid bronzers. I haven’t tried the bronzers but I love the liquid blushes. Shelby Wilson and Wayne Goss I think have videos that mention the brand.
Purchased the Covergirl advanced radiance foundation based off your previous video. It's fantastic! Thanks for the recommendation. Will be selecting some of your suggested treat from this video🙂👍
I have used color pop concealer as a contour. I bought a color that was too deep for me when I had a tan. It really worked well as a contour. I’m thinking the age rewind concealer has a similar application as the Charlotte contour and it’s creamy as well. It would be interesting to see if they have a dark color that would compare.
I love the Misha BB cream also, I'm in #27. I just make sure not to use too much, and like you said wait a bit for it to sink in. Pur makes my holy grail face powder.
@jessica braun instead of dipping a damp sponge into my pressed powders sometimes I pick up powder on a dry sponge then lightly mist it with a setting spray and apply works out pretty good for me
I loved the Missha BB cream (I use it in 21) and it's like magic - you literally could apply it with your hands in the dark and it would look amazing and skin-like (and I have done that before, lol). But, the fragrance is just too much. :( I can usually get past smells in cosmetics, but whatever they use in this, irritates my skin and I had to stop which makes me sad.
I bought the Missha bb cream last night after listening to you rave about them. I'm REALLY looking forward to trying it alone to replace my Maybelline BB cream and to mix with UD Stay Naked, which is a little too matte on my skin in the winter. I got 21, so I hope it's not too light!
Hey :) a good Liquid contour bronzer is the cushion contour by peripera. I picked it up at cvs. I haven't tried the Charlotte Tilbury one to compare but I really like it. It's super easy to blend out also.
loved this video.. its even more helpful seeing the demo's.. I've been wanting to try a new mascara and had a short list with those mascara's on and your description and the demo just make the choice easier.. thanks Jess.. also, I don't know if I mentioned it in another comment but try the Essence darkening drops as a liquid bronzer, I have heard and seen someone use it and it seems to work really well.. I'm even eyeing it to replace my expensive Estee Lauder one when it runs out..
Just bought the SAME colourpop eyeshadow palette! Saw it online and had all the heart eyes. Took advantage of their sale + some Ulta points and bought would. Would really love to see some looks you do with it when you get a chance to use it for a while. Love your channel!
I recieved the Better than sex mascara in Boxycharm and did not like it. It sat for a couple weeks then I tried it again Wow it was great. I never thought about letting them sit for a week or two to thicken up.
Hi Jessica! Hope the baby is better. I have oily skin & have tried M Missha BB cream & I love the product but it gets very oily & sticky on me. But it does give you that perfect skin look. I bought mine online at Walmart. I read on their site that the M Magic Cushion is better for oilier skin.
Beauty Pie makes an exact dupe of the Charlotte Tilbury contouring wand. You have to be a member to buy it, but it's soooo worth it - their skincare is great too! I literally cannot live without their micro peeling drops and hyaluronic acid serum.
I was so excited to find the Missha bb cream in Japan Town in San Francisco last weekend. I am fairer than you and have pink undertones so I've hesitated to buy it on line thinking it would be too dark. I'm glad I was able to see it in person, the beige #21 is a perfect match and that surprised me. It was a little more expensive but now that I know that shade works for me I'll repurchase it on Amazon. But you are so right about how beautiful it is and the coverage is amazing.
absolutely love the vibe i get from you and ur vids! pretty sure you’re still on ur trip right now so hope u r having an amazing time and if u r already home then i hope y’all had a wonderful trip
So you should totally test out the newish real techniques sponge that is made to use damp with powder and you can still use it with liquid foundation too.. love to see you thoughts.. i do enjoy applying powder with a damp sponge too
You got me on the Missha BB cream! I am mostly oily-combo skin but oily skin in summer times and really disliked BB creams in the past. The Missha one is NOT oily and really stay skin like. When I am on the oily side, I use oil-control primers before putting on the Missha BB cream. I am on my second bottle. Edit: when I am more oily I do set the BB cream w translucent powders.
Purchased the Essence Volume Stylist Mascara at your recommendation and I absolutely love it! I don't even need to curl my lashes before I apply it. We've also recently gotten Physicians Formula and Milani at a drug store here in the UK and I've been dying to get my hands on a few products. I've so far tried the butter blush and I adore it, can't wait to try out more as I use up my current ever-expanding stash.
Used the double entendre pallette today! Also bought that essence mascara because you recommended it. It's ok but I def love the lash princess one better!
Dear Jessica, I love watching your videos, you are such a lovely, energetic , natural person . Could you please tell me, wether you think that the it cosmetics powder foundation is better than the mac studio fix. I have to go into the hospital in January and do not want to use my liquid foundation. Lots of love Brigitte
please try the Maybelline fit me concealers for liquid contour/bronzer, I have been doing that for years and it blends so well into my skin and looks natural too, I personally use the shade "Deep Fonce 35" for this, but you can always opt for a deeper shade :)
You recently talked about watching certain youtubers when you’re feeling down or anxious. You are that UA-camr for me! I love all your videos and am really enjoying how you’re branching out into lifestyle videos as well💜
Maya Lillie I feel the same way!!
I love the lifestyle videos!!
Same for me!!💓
Same!!
Omgg yessss!! Im showing my bf these comments because he thinks I'm insane!n
I love this video concept. I totally get that beauty UA-camrs get the most views when they talk about new releases, but I’m past the point of needing the latest and greatest. That’s great!
Brown girl who has been watching you for years. Never can utilize you for shade reference (🤣🤣) but I love your videos for how thorough of a review you give! Thank you for always having integrity Jess!
Same 🤭
same here i buy so much stuff from her recommendations
Hey sis! Lol. I feel the same
The IT Illumination powder is absolutely beautiful. I keep going back to it as well. At 67, nothing gives such a soft just slightly illuminated finish and doesn't settle into fine lines. Love love love it.
I'm 64 appreciate your help sharing needed new powder foundation.
Hi, Jessica! I almost never comment on UA-cam videos, but I’ve been watching your channel for a while and very much enjoy you and your content. SAME!!! I'm old enough to be her mother. She was the first youtuber I ever watched and I've been following her for YEARS!

Love when Jess uploads just as I made my coffee! Yay! 😄
Alyssa Marie Baniaga SAME ❤️
I absolutely thought you were going to mention Wet and Wild Creme Brûlée 😊
Makeup Revolution has a dupe for the Mac Paint Pots. They are really good. I ran out of my Mac one so I got the MUR one and it’s just as good and it’s $8.
What is the name of the MUR dupe?
It’s the Revolution Pro eye elements eye primer
Shes used that before and said it was a good dupe.
When you're missing Jessica and she uploads a video :D It's almost like you've become a close friend that we see thrice a week
Your videos are so calming for me. Tomorrow I start a new iv treatment and I'm terrified of needles but I have a bunch of your videos queued up to watch throughout it. Thank you for being that person for so many of us ❤️
Rita Tanya I hope your treatment goes well! I totally understand being afraid of needles (and pretty much all things medical)
@@kelseyhapper1287 thank you so much, angel! ❤️

Watching you is like watching old makeup videos, when everything was honest and drama free and beautiful!
I’m kind of wondering if a foundation or a creamy concealer in a darker shade would work as a “dupe” for the liquid bronzer. I’d love to see a video trying different ones to recreate the look.
SkipToMyLuLuDarling it definately does! For example Maybelline fit me concealer in a dark shade
I just saw that flower beauty is teasing something that looks like liquid bronzer...hopefully it is!!
From what I’ve heard the contour wand is not opaque. That is what makes it so blendable. Most concealers are very pigmented.
I have the maybelline fit me concealer and the milk baked bronzer and the color is EXACTLY THE SAME. However the fit me formula takes quite some skill to blend out without a sponge whereas the milk is very user friendly.
I love what you do with your hands when you try and describe what mascara does to lashes. You are so cute!
I LOVE this entire look, from your headband to your hoodie to your makeup. It's such a (unrealistically gorgeous) girl-next-door look!
Thanks!
“If it’s yellow, let it mellow.” Lol
Will you show us how you do your mini wing? I can’t figure it out!
I use the maybeline instant age rewind in a darker shade as contour and it gives a similar effect💕
I just ordered several of these products from Ulta, and they are offering free shipping!! NO minimum purchase required😱
Oily skinned girl here and I love the Missha BB Cream! I wear shade 27 and it has the perfect yellow undertone. I use a mattifying primer underneath and a mattifying loose powder to set it. It lasts all day on my skin. Walmart sells this on their website for $11.98.
the fact that the videos are still coming as you're off traveling the world 😍
and i'm wearing the same sweatshirt today! #jessicavibes 😂
Thank you so much for talking about the shade range. Honestly it means a lot that you care to mention it!
Double Entendre has been my go to eyeshadow lately! I just love brown shadow looks and it’s such a good price.
You look so cute in this video! Your make up is so soft and really feminine looking. Loving the headband as well!
YES! The best way to end a three day weekend with a video from Jess! 🎉🙌🏼
Happy three day weekend to all the teachers out there!
I love vids like this and empties vids from influencers. It says a lot about a product when it gets used up from people surrounded by abundance.
I have fairly oily skin and I love the Missha BB cream. It's not the longest lasting on me, but as long as I set it with a decent powder, it'll last through an 8 hour day with no problems! I love the Missha BB Boomer too. It's my favorite primer with any foundation!
The makeup, the hair... everything is perfect in this video. You’re absolutely glowing
oily skin girl like even double wear looks greasy on me after a couple of hours, this is AMAZING! I use my matte primer but I don't get super oily when I use the missha bb and it looks so pretty on my skin or mixed into my other foundations. I love it and I get it off amazon so i'm hoping its the same thing but absolutely love it! I also set mine with the fit me loose powder like I do any foundation
I love the It Cosmetics foundation powder! It worked awesome in the heat and humidity and it works great for the gym!
please try the missha color stick in sepia filter! it's my new favorite find, the PERFECT contour. works for a vast variety of skin tones. thanks for the upload :)
you're so excited in this video, it's so obvious you love all these products!! 🥰🥰
Thank you for sharing this with us! Keep creating, be happy and stay blessed!! ❤
I just bought that Maybelline gel liner! I used to get it all the time too and forgot about how much I love it! The brush really is so good too!
The it cosmetics foundation is hands down my favorite powder foundation! It’s become my go to every day foundation for work and day to day wear! I swear we are twins in our makeup taste! I started buying the Revolution eye liner from your recommendations too!
Lauren Jacquelyn Its good! The color selection it terrible, though. I am between fair and light. Neither work for me.
To keep my brow pencil in place I use a tiny bit of eyeshadow primer. CoverGirl Lid Lock Up. Brush thru right after applying, dries quick.
I’m so glad you turned my on to LA Girls brown pencil!!! Literally the best! Also the Missha BB cream!
You're always enjoyable to watch Jessica!
I loved seeing what some of your faves are!
You look so radiant! 😍 I know you have Gigi and everything but you look so relaxed and happy!!!
Loving the headband with the more basic sweatshirt!
I bought the it cosmetics celebration foundation illumination on your recommendation and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since!!!
Hi Jess! Daniel Sandler makes liquid bronzers. I haven’t tried the bronzers but I love the liquid blushes. Shelby Wilson and Wayne Goss I think have videos that mention the brand.
Jessica, you’ve converted me to the Shady Slim brow pencil!!! I love it, and to set it I use essence brow gel!
JESSICA!!!! MISSHA JUST EXPANDED THEIR SHADE RANGE RECENTLY!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love the Essence mascara and the Missha bb creme. Both of them I discovered thanks to you.
Have u every tried a colored brow gel to keep ur eyebrow pencil in place?? I find it works really well for me
I love the Misha BB cream also, I'm in #27. I just make sure not to use too much, and like you said wait a bit for it to sink in. Pur makes my holy grail face powder.
That headband is everything!!
@jessica braun instead of dipping a damp sponge into my pressed powders sometimes I pick up powder on a dry sponge then lightly mist it with a setting spray and apply works out pretty good for me
Watching the video like yass!! Love that product too!! Love ur videos !!
Wow you’ve been looking so radiant and glowy lately! So pretty. One of my fav people to watch ❤️
I loved the Missha BB cream (I use it in 21) and it's like magic - you literally could apply it with your hands in the dark and it would look amazing and skin-like (and I have done that before, lol). Hey :) a good Liquid contour bronzer is the cushion contour by peripera. I picked it up at cvs. I haven't tried the Charlotte Tilbury one to compare but I really like it. It's super easy to blend out also.

I LOVE the Misha BB cream! I have oily skin and love it! Got it on YesStyle. I’ll always repurchase!
Ahhh Jessica looks so young and beautiful in this video! That allays my fears of one day turning 30 🙈. Another great video~
You look so cute!!! The headband! The Hoodie! What!!!
Love this video and all the positivity going on in the comments. Thanks, Jess!
The Elf cream bronzer palette is surprisingly really good! XO
Love the headband! Keep rocking it!
Hi Jessica! Hope the baby is better. I have oily skin & have tried M Missha BB cream & I love the product but it gets very oily & sticky on me. But it does give you that perfect skin look. I bought mine online at Walmart. I read on their site that the M Magic Cushion is better for oilier skin.
Wet n wild cushion bronzer!!! I love it!
Jessica, love watching you. I love Misha BB cream and have oily skin. Have to powder but it's not greasy later in the day.
Love your videos Jessica! So fun to watch!!Hope you have a great weekend!
Dear Jessica,
I love watching your videos, you are such a lovely, energetic , natural person . Could you please tell me, wether you think that the it cosmetics powder foundation is better than the mac studio fix. I have to go into the hospital in January and do not want to use my liquid foundation.
Lots of love
Brigitte
please try the Maybelline fit me concealers for liquid contour/bronzer, I have been doing that for years and it blends so well into my skin and looks natural too, I personally use the shade "Deep Fonce 35" for this, but you can always opt for a deeper shade :)
Love your videos! I have oily skin and the misha bb cream is my favorite! ❤️
