2022 Team Special Olympics North Carolina Selection Show

On August 19, Special Olympics North Carolina hosted a Selection Show to announce the nearly 75 athletes and Unified partners headed to Orlando June 5-12 to represent Team Special Olympics North Carolina at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games.
www.sonc.net The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
Special Olympics aims to combine high quality sports with a wide audience, and be a driving force for social inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.
