I’ve rewatched this keynote multiple times per year last 5 years. Still amazes me nobody is talking about this nowadays. Mikko called this war 6 years ago.
Fucking awesome talk! Every time I look at one of Mikko presentation is like enter a new different world. Bunch of technical things told with simple words and everyday life samples (and some jokes too). Great piece!
I still remember when in Finnish morning news/talk (can't remember which channel) was talking about WannaCry when it was happening, the security guy that they had brought there said it made by a skript kiddie :-DDD Couple day later it was revealed that it was most likely made by north korea
I think that if they really wanted to make an IoT car, even the simplest solutions would prevent it from stealing. For example it won't run if it has no key in it. Or it needs a special hash key which needs years of working supercomputers to be broken. I can't really find a way that they could make the IoT car vulnerable of stealing because car companies are not that stupid. Even today simple solutions make your car send SMS if it changes position on GPS (I have it, for example).

My OCD never allowed me to have a blinking 12:00 on my VHS player…
Our business now sells F-secure products, because of Mikko, and his information.

Great speech Mikko!
Vey insightful! Starting 16:58 though.. sounds a lot like Office 365 ATP to me. Is this the case?
To the point. Great stuff! Plus what a snazzy intro song, this was refreshing! :)
Good analisis, good information
Eikö autoja valmistavilta yrityksiltä voisi kiristää rahaa onnettomuuksien estämiseksi?

Saved the world...for 9 dollars. I wonder if that was his intention?
He knew.
"Some people just wanna see the world burn."
With hindsight. It was a cyberattack on Ukraine from Russia. The war was already going on for a looooong time before 2022
Everybody wants a piece of the same cake.
