I think Choni can withstand a few growing pains. Two people don’t have to always agree about everything to be in love and Toni is really good for Cheryl, calling her out when she goes too far. I just want Cheryl to grow as a person and to be good for Toni too. If they never really fought until Ep 12 (Cheryl said it was their first fight) then they must be doing something right because that’s a really long time to go in a relationship without fighting. Getting kicked out of the Serpents because of Cheryl’s influence must have been the catalyst for Toni to start realizing she has to call Cheryl out on her sh*t sometimes, but I don’t doubt she still loves Cheryl and doesn’t want to try to change her whole personality. At least I hope that’s where the writers are going with this notion of finally giving them a bit of conflict in their relationship dynamic instead of just having them look pretty and smiling at each other all the time.
