Actually this watch shown is a fake. I have the original model and that's why I know. The machinery appears " not original" when zoomed. Sorry to burst your bubble
There are some really really good Panerai fakes out there. The models with a simpler design lend themselves to it. I saw a Panerai #177 that you absolutely, positively could not tell was fake until you flipped it over and looked through the glass at the movement quite closely. That particular model is just brushed titanium so it's probably not hard; the polished models, it seems to me, would be much harder to convincingly fake.
I would sooner buy a Seiko 5 from a high street retailer than a fake online- You can get a good one from about £130 from Hinds with a two year warrantee and topl quality build
Hey man, I had intended for the title to question whether the Panerai I bought is real or fake, and that is all. I don't think I've injected additional elements to mislead anyone. Would you have commented otherwise if the watch indeed turned out to be fake? It seems like you're more unhappy that the watch turned out to be real. Just my observation of your comment.
Honestly, even the “superfakes” still have obvious tells. And, those are pretty rare in the wild. Most that buy superfakes don’t attempt to defraud others down the line. Most fakes I’ve seen for sale are so obvious it’s a scammer or dumbass trying to get over; enthusiasts purchasing “homage” pieces tend to keep them for themselves.

It looks good tho, i can get one that looks like that for 150 bucks with a unitas 6897 movement here in Indonesia
Mine is. It`s beautiful, and I love it. ST 3600 is +23 seconds over the last 21 days. What` not to love about that?
You should not buy any used wstch at boutiques, go to a reputable jewelery store...

You should get a 47mm model
Well that didn’t go like I expected 😂 Glad it turned out ok!
Hhahaa thank you! Definitely a bit more stressful than I had bargained for but happy that it turned out good!!
Amen to that !
@@larry.l no need to spend THAT amount when you get 1:1 clones ;)
May i know where is the authentication shop at and how much for the service? I would like to bring my pam005 for a check too.
It’s called SWISS SAV at Tanglin shopping center. Cost wise I think it may be best you get in touch with the shop! Thanks and good luck! :)
Horrible review
If you can't decide from a watch if it is fake then it is eighter a fake or it is a shitty watch at the first place.

you can buy a genuine fake with a two year guarantee

SWISS SAV at Tanglin shopping center!

May be best to ask the shop mate, I wouldn't wanna misrepresent anything on their behalf esp since I'm not affiliated to them!

Hey man my wrist is 14.5cm, or roundabouts 5.7 inches. Hope that helps!
Why the click bait title man. Don’t try and snare views in a dishonest Way.
Shame on you

Let me know if you ever decide to sell. I’ve not owned a Panerai yet but keen and like this one and knowing it’s real helps. Thanks.

True, but for someone new to the hobby it may be difficult to distinguish.
