- In this talk, Anita Peter shares her experience on how she did not let the society, her marriage or her age weigh her down. She emphasizes on the importance of self-belief and courage to undertake those tasks which otherwise seem far-fetched. She takes us on the ride of her life, from ‘who she was’ to ‘where she stands now’; a rider, a professional dancer, a theatre artist and above all, a mother of two. Her life is truly an inspiration for other girls to follow, who seek an independence from the norms of the society.
Anita Peter is a corporate facilitator, initiator of the social initiative ' I pledge'- Awareness for Change, a Mohiniyattam dancer and the founder of LasyaDrutha, Hyderabad. She rides a Harley Street 750 and completed her Hyderabad-Kanyakumari-Kashmir-Hyderabad ride in June 2017. She is the director of Persona Script, an organizational, leadership development and Designing firm. She is also an actor as well as a model for several print and media ads, and a writer whenever time permits. She is mother of 2 kids, a 17 year old and a 13 year old. From having won the state championship in Artistic and figure skating, to being one of the top ten finalist in the Gladrags Mrs. India 2010. Anita believes that the only factor that decides whether you could do something is how much you want to do it.

She has surely broken barriers by achieving most of what she has done post having her first child This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. These speeches make me strong day by day... because I feel that I can't deal with the situation but after it ...I have also strength to change myself... thanks tedx for these inspiring stories....keep it up
It's very nice to see her achieve after being a mother. I read about her and follow her too. She is an inspiration to us. She balances her home and work. She may not be a celebrity in our Indian terms of description but is someone who ordinary lifestyle women can relate to. Inspite of all that she has done she is a very down to earth person. Thats what I really like about her.
Her achievement is a big 'I'... I...... I and I
Respect , accountability and resilience 3 things that you should focus on your journey to success !

You struggled lot in your life but why didn't you succeed in one field.
You could do as per your choice because no compulsion of earning money was upon you. But a husband has to earn money throughout his life and they can't change their profession frequently as you did.
