Sound/Audio is measured in decibels. Decibels could theoretically have decimals as it is a numeric value but typically doesn't. So decibels is the proper term.
Mnemosyne's Ego yes SOUND he was saying she was very loud meaning lower her voice decimals!! Which your voice is a SOUND. But maybe my comprehension is off. Have a goid day.
